FACEBOOK SHARING

Sharing content is much easier on Facebook the way this platform is designed compared to other platforms.

Sharing a post from one page to another is very simple They best way to ensure both pages benefit from sharing a post, share it through the Facebook "Share" button located on the bottom right of the post below.

SHARING TO PAGE

Click the "share button" in the bottom right of the post to share it both on your business page (and/or personal page) and in the feed shown to your organic page audience

Add your own caption to accompany the post if you would like This is a great opportunity to share your own thoughts or entice engagement from viewers

SHARING TO STORY

STEP Alternatively, you can temporarily share the post to your business page story for 24 hours using the "Your story" button after completing "Step 1"

Content is more limited on Instagram as profile to profile sharing can only be done through "collaboration" or stories.

Instagram is the most complex of any social media platform when it comes to sharing the content one profile posts to the profile of another page It can currently only be done through story sharing (24 hours) or being added as a collaborator. If you curate previously posted content, be sure that you are not posting too close to the original post, as that can limit the performance of both posts

ADD COLLABORATOR

When creating an Instagram post, click on "Tag People" This is where you can tag profiles and collaborators

On the next screen you can "Tap photo to tag people" or click the "Invite collaborators" button

Choose who you want to invite A tagged profile can feature the post in "Tagged Photos" section of their profile Collaborator can feature the post on their main profile section as "their post" too

SHARING TO STORY

To share a post to your Instagram story for 24 hours, click the "send" button (shaped like a paper airplane) in the lower right corner

Click the "Add to story" button on the share menu Note: Sometimes this option will appear at the top of the menu above the search bar

STEP

Add any elements you want such as links, profile tags, hashtags, location tags, or more to your new story Then when you are ready to post it, click the "Your story" button

NOTE:

Any profiles that you tag in your story will be able to share your story to their own profile and audience Tagging your location will allow your story to show up in location searches for your area, as well as allow Instagram to organically recommend your content to local users

THREADS SHARING

SHARING ON THREADS

To share a post on Threads, simply click on the "Repost" button (two arrows creating a circle)

You then have the option to click "Repost" will automatically post as soon as you click the button or

If you want to add your own caption or additional graphics or images, click on the "Quote" button. Then press "Post" when you are ready to share on your Thread profile

NOTE: Thread works much like Twitter ("X") which are both designed as "sharing" apps, so the idea is to create threads or topic streams, as well as engaging with other customers. Since this is a new platform, it will evolve overtime and we will need to be able to adjust strategies accordingly

The only way to be successful on any social media platform is to leverage their algorithm to your advantage by giving it what it wants in order to reach your end goal -- maximizing your audience reach to increase engagement, brand awareness, and sales

ORIGINAL & UNIQUE CONTENT

Sharing unique and original content is vital to reaching your goals on social media! This is because that is what captures and holds users' attention. This is true for photos, videos, and text content You don't want everything to sound and look too similar or it will get lost in the competitive social media feed Photos and videos are a powerful way to share recent projects, success stories, and more

CURATING "PREVIOUS" CONTENT

Some content is too good not to share again! Believe it or not, social media platforms like this IF the timing is right It is okay to post a photos or video that you or another Closet Factory location has posted as long as there is time between the two posts (at least 1-2 weeks minimum). If you repost content as a new post too close in time to the original post, algorithms will limit the performance of both
