Settling – Oil mud
During the settling phase of the unfiltered oil (that can last up to 2 months), the fine particles make a dense layer on the bottom, called oil mud According to their taste and characteristics, they are either used as gourmet seed butters or as cosmetical muds Because of the the extended period of settling, the muds price include the extra cost of storage
Pellets – Flours
The oil pressing’s residues are the dry parts of the seeds that form the so called “cakes” or “pellets” By milling and sieving these by-products we produce gluten-free seed flours, which is usually max 300 microns Just like the oils, they also have the high nutritional values that the seeds naturally have: they are rich in vegan proteins, water-soluble vitamins, minerals and fibers, but low in fat and carbohydrates They are great baking and food ingredients, and fit well in any health conscious diets Many of them can be used as animal feed ingredients, too Available packaging: 250 g, 500 g doy packs and in bulk bags (25 kg)
Sieving
If the pellet is coarser or differs from usual size, we can sift once again into different fractions.
