


London City Ballet
Reborn and returning for 2025, London City Ballet, formerly the resident company of Sadler’s Wells, returns after a triumphant first year touring Asia, America, and Europe.
This season brings a bold new repertoire featuring rarely seen works and standout international artists. Highlights include George Balanchine’s Haieff Divertimento, unseen outside the USA for decades; Alexei Ratmansky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, set to Mussorgsky’s score with Kandinsky-inspired visuals; and Liam Scarlett’s Consolations & Liebestraum, a moving portrayal of love’s journey, last seen in the UK in 2009. Paris Opera Ballet’s Florent Melac also debuts a new work, blending fluid musicality with intimate partnering.
London City Ballet continues its momentum, forging a bold path across the world stage.

A Thing of Beauty – A double bill of beautiful, exhilarating and new dance by award winning choreographer Rosie Kay with her new company, K2CO.
“A thing of beauty is a joy forever” – John Keats Fantasia is inspired by the relationship between music and dance, Fantasia is a tour-de-force danced by three exquisite female dancers. With music by Vivaldi, Beethoven and Bach, this is a treat for the senses.
Adult Female Dancer is Kay’s first and only autobiographical solo work, danced by Kay herself. Moving, honest and ultimately fully life- affirming.
A feast of dance, full of honesty, beauty and joy. Expect to leave the theatre with the desire to dance!

Gary Clarke Company proudly presents DETENTION – a powerful new dance theatre show following the award-winning Coal and Wasteland.
DETENTION explores the impact of Section 28, a 1988 law under Thatcher’s government that banned the “promotion of homosexuality,” forcing the LGBT+ community into fear and secrecy during a time of industrial decline and the AIDS crisis.
Blending personal and political stories, including insights from the LGBT+ Switchboard Logbooks, Gary Clarke’s evocative choreography is brought to life by a dynamic cast, striking visuals, and a soundtrack by iconic industrial band TEST DEPT.
A bold, moving look at violence, protest, unlikely allies, and resilience.

For dance fans around the globe, Carlos is an international superstar of the classical ballet world. Born in Havana and trained at the National School of Ballet in Cuba, he went on to dance professionally with the world’s most prestigious companies, with London’s Royal Ballet becoming his home. Having tackled huge titles throughout his career, from Carmen to Don Quixote, Nutcracker in Havana is an opportunity for Acosta to fuse this festive treat with a little Havana heat.
