Welcome from our Chief Executive

Hello and a heartfelt welcome to Blackpool Grand Theatre!

This season, we’re celebrating big talent, bold stories and brilliant partnerships. We’re delighted to co-produce several standout productions, including the iconic Grease The Musical, RUM, a darkly humorous and powerful new play that wrestles with masculinity, mental health and addiction in the trade, and Noël Coward’s classic Blithe Spirit - a hilarious farce packed with wit, mischief and ghostly surprises!

Noël & Gertie brings charm and sparkle to the stage, exploring the legendary bond between Noël Coward and Gertrude Lawrence. Directed by the acclaimed Thom Southerland (Titanic The Musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), this stylish tribute is not to be missed.

We’re also thrilled to present The Last Laugh, direct from the West End - filled with great gags and touching stories - this brand new laugh-a-minute play reimagines the lives of three of Britain’s all time comedy heroes.

Dance fans, prepare to be dazzled by the brilliance of London City Ballet and Carlos Acosta’s Nutcracker in Havana - a colourful Cuban twist on a timeless classic.

Looking to 2026, we present the world stage premiere of Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift and we’re honoured to welcome back the Royal Shakespeare Company with a riveting new production of Hamlet.

Whether you come for laughter, drama, music or magic - we can't wait to welcome you to The Grand.

Warm wishes,
