Embarking on a culinary odyssey deeply rooted in familial heritage, Chef Pande's culinary journey is a testament to the transformative power of passion and perseverance. Raised amidst the aromatic embrace of Balinese cuisine, his formative years were shaped by the skilled hands of his grandfather, a maestro of local delicacies whose culinary artistry served as an enduring inspiration.
Fuelled by this legacy, Chef Pande embarked on a quest for culinary excellence, graduating from the International Bali School with a fervent determination to carve his own path in the world of food.
His voyage began humbly, as a daily worker in the bustling kitchens of St. Regis Bali Nusa Dua in 2009, where he diligently honed his cra , laying the foundation for his culinary ascent. With each sizzle of the grill, Chef Pande's expertise burgeoned, leading him to The Ritz Carlton in 2015, where he distinguished himself as a grilled specialist, delighting palates with his mastery of flame and flavour.
The call of distant shores beckoned in 2021, as he ventured to the idyllic landscapes of the Maldives, gracing the culinary scene of Finolhu with his artistry and innovation. Yet, like a prodigal son returning to his roots, Chef Pande found himself drawn back to the vibrant tapestry of Bali in 2023, where he now serves as sous chef at Andaz Bali, infusing each dish with a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
His culinary creations, a symphony of taste and technique, reflect not only his profound respect for Balinese heritage but also his unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of culinary innovation. In Chef Pande's hands, every meal becomes a celebration of culture, a journey of the senses, and an affirmation of the timeless bond between food and family.
