Berg Furniture was established in 1974, and our love for design and good craftsmanship has been the company’s hallmark ever since, safeguarded over the years by loyal employees, many of whom have been with us from the beginning. Their pride in their work can be seen in every single stitch and detail, and they are happy to lend their names to, and personally sign each piece of furniture.

Berg Dream Balance / Milance Dream Balance is one of our most popular chairs, representing all the qualities we want to maintain. When you place yourself in the chair you are embraced by sheer comfort. Dream Balance is perfectly balanced, whether the chair is in the upright position, or the backrest is reclined by light pressure on the button under the armrest. The comfort is in a class of its own. The back and footrest operate synchronously. When the footrest is raised to support legs and calves, your body’s weight is evenly distributed to provide maximum relief of pressure on the lower back. The chair can be locked in any position desired. The headrest can be adjusted individually by pulling the upper part of the backrest forward, and the seat height is adjustable by +2 or +4 cm. Classic elegance and timeless design give Ceto and Ato character. A light push on the armrests when seated, and the footrest automatically lifts up and extends by 15 cm on Ceto and 12 cm on Ato. This unique function provides full support under the legs and calves. When activating the mechanism hidden under the right armrest, the backrest slides backwards and downwards and relieves the pressure on both back and lumbar region. The backrest can be locked in any position, and the headrest can be adjusted separately. The seat and back have foam padding for optimum support and pressure relief. In addition, the back cushion is channelled and, as a special feature, filled with the finest down to give the user an experience out of the ordinary. To put it modestly, a world original. Square is available in 3 different seat heights: Standard, +2cm, +4 cm. Integrated neck adjustment. When reclining, Square distributes your body’s weight, providing optimum support from the neck/shoulders to the lower back and legs.
Berg Amsterdam
Amsterdam and Maastricht express simplicity and lightness. Behind the elegant lines, both models feature both a sliding recline function and adjustable lumbar support thanks to an integral air cushion. The matching footstools have ergonomically correct inclinations, allowing free blood circulation to the legs. Seat heights can be adjusted by +2 or +4 cm.

A sofa with comfort out of the ordinary thanks to seat cushions where foam is combined in different hardnesses. Together with strong springs in the frame, you’ll experience Rio as soft and comfortable as well as firm and supporting. The armrests are designed to offer perfect support for the arms when sitting and for the head when resting. Rio is available as a 3-seater (230 cm), 2½-seater (203 cm), 2-seater (173 cm), and as a very spacious single-seater, so the combination possibilities are many and the furnishing potential is substantial. Ergo-Line provides optimum support for the lumbar region and back simply because it is custom-built to individual measurements. We either build in a permanent extra cushion at a certain position (measurements are taken by the trained staff at your dealer) – or we deliver the chair with an integrated zipper and 3 separate pads (+2, +3, +4 cm) giving you the opportunity to change the pads to meet your needs. Your dealer will show you how to operate this very personal handcrafted multifunction chair.

The MB-86 is an exclusive and highly presentable office- and conference chair (high-back / low-back) which has found its way into executive offices, conference centres, hotels and private homes all over the world. The quality and design are top of the line and the comfort is in a class of its own. It is not without reason that the Hilton hotel chain has named it “the 8-hour chair.” The MB-86 is fitted with strong supporting foam in the seat, a little softer but still supportive at the lower part of the back, while the softest part is in the upper region. An integral air cushion can be inflated by hand, allowing adjustment to individual requests and needs, thus ensuring optimum support for the lower back. In addition, the chair can be tilted – comfortably, controlled and balanced, and adjusted to the user’s weight and build.

A popular and modern classic with unique comfort in seating and functions which are similar to those of the MB-86. However, the 89-11 is made with armrests in solid wood, and the chair is hand-laced to emphasise the exclusive quality. Hand lacing is one of our hallmarks, and we are among the few in the world who continue to maintain this unique workman-

ship. The needle is stuck through four layers of leather by eye – with exactly 18 mm between each stitch and without making holes in advance. A demanding craft which is only carried out by our most skilled and experienced craftsmen.
