BLUBLOC Dodici anni sono passati ormai dal primo passaggio qui a Varazze, e già tredici per Triora. Incredibile che dopo tutto questo tempo ancora motivati cerchiamo rocce nuove, per scoprire linee interessanti da provare. Marco Bagnasco con la sua instancabile compagna Carlotta è stato indispensabile, ha pazientemente dedicato molto tempo a perlustrare angoli nascosti di queste valli, sempre pronto ad avvisare tutti noi appena intravedeva qualcosa di meritevole. Stessa cosa per il local triorese Davide Lantrua, sempre alla ricerca di linee nuove. Si è innescato così un meccanismo ormai automatico di amicizia e unione, poche telefonate per ritrovarsi insieme a pulire e preparare a volte un nuovo settore, a volte invece anche una linea sola. Tutto questo negli anni ci ha permesso di superare il magico numero di 1.000 boulders, di tutte le difficoltà e stili a Varazze e 180 a Triora. Un grazie a tutti i ragazzi che hanno faticato, creduto, dedicato molto tempo e collaborato per la creazione di questi due luoghi che offrono a tutti noi scalatori, boulderisti un parco giochi per trascorrere insieme belle giornate.
Even though it sounds incredible it’s been twelve years since we first cleaned up a problem in Varazze. It’s even more incredible that we keep finding new boulders, new projects, new problems. Marco Bagnasco and his partner Carlotta have been fundamental in this process, they have continuously put in their best efforts, time and patience to roam these valleys and discover their secrets. Marco’s always been ready to inform us when he found something worth a second glance and from the start this triggered our cooperation and fuelled a strong friendship that now needs just a few phone calls to rekindle... and after that cleaning up starts immediately. The results of our efforts are a stunning 1000 boulders in the area, boulders for all tastes and abilities. An heartfelt thank you to everybody who worked with us, believed in this project and dedicated their time to the creation of this area.
