Pastoral Notice
A Death in Our Parish Family Lawrence Keesee died on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. A requiem liturgy will be offered at Grace-St. Luke's at a later date. Details will be included in next week's eNews. Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant, Lawrence. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.
This Week and Beyond
Public Theology (Aug. 1) Join us this evening, August 1, for Public Theology, 5:30-7 p.m., at Celtic Crossing in the Cooper Young neighborhood. The Rev. Amy George will lead the discussion on “Holy Envy: Finding God in Other Faiths.� Public Theology is a time of laid-back fellowship and open conversation facilitated at a public restaurant by a member of the clergy. All adults are invited to these drop-in gatherings, so bring a friend!
Parish Hall Forum (Aug. 4) Parish Hall Forums continue throughout the summer! Join us for Weekly Conversation with the Clergy: Informative Discussions on Life and Faith.
