“Presenting Jesus: A Light for Revelation to All People” A Message from The Rector The Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph brought Jesus to Jerusalem to present him before God in the temple. Faithful Simeon, who trusted God would make all things new through a Messiah for himself and Israel, before his death, took our Lord in his arms and said, “Master, now you are dismissing your servant in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel." Come as you are able to Grace-St. Luke’s on February 2 (8:00, 10:30, 5:30) to praise God for the light, hope, and healing of Jesus, our “way” on the journey.
