Avanti Commercial was established under the Avanti banner in 2017, and quickly adapted to the group business model, which was to take a broader approach to real estate by providing an end-to-end solution to their clients’ needs.

We do our research and then submit a proposal which includes how we will work together and flesh out our strategy for your property.

The team is lead by Lachlan Harris as Managing Director whose experience encompasses over 25 years in Commercial Property on the Gold Coast for national agencies before establishing his own business. As an owner, he takes personal responsibility for providing service of the highest professional standard.

Lachlan has been working in realestate and the property industry on the Gold Coast for over 25 years and has been very successful during both the boom and difficult periods on the coast.

His most recent role as “Head of Agency” and Director of CBRE Gold Coast has assisted building strong relationships with institutions and local/national developers in all areas of real estate, particularly development sites, large commercial holdings and site amalgamations.

He has proven successful in being able to adapt to the market and has been involved in many major commerical and retail asset transactions and has had recent success selling large shopping centres, investment properties and development sites.

Lachlan understands the current market and the broad commercial industry and his track record has led him to his present position of Managing Director at Avanti Commerical.

Chris has been working in the Real Estate and Property Industry on the Gold Coast for over 31 years and has extensive experience in the commercial and development areas. Over the years he has amalgamated large parcels, coordinated joint ventures and has been instrumental in many landmark property transactions. In the last 14 years, he has been very involved in the fuel and fast food arenas and is very well respected by all major groups.

He has proven successfull in being able to adapt to the market and has been involved in major commercial and retail transactions. Chris understands the market and the challenging area of Freehold and Business packages, as well as, “off the plan leasing,” business sales, the sale of Investment Properties and sites suitable for development. With over 25 years of experience, Ken began his career in residential property and moved into sales of major commercial office investments, debelopment sites and investment property throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Trent Milburn

Trent Milburn’s expertise in property project marketing has ensured his involvement with some of the most iconic residential projects in South East Queensland.

A people person, Trent’s easy manner and sense of fun has helped him develop enduring business and personal relationships which have resulted in a number of advantageous opportunities.

Trent is a founding director of Avanti Project Marketing which was registered in 2015. The business grew rapidly in its first 2 years and received recognition from the Australian Financial Review on their list of Fast Starters in 2017 and 2018.

Chris Magick

Chris’ positive attitude and leadership abilities were developed during his years as a professional basketball player where he developed a strong sense of sportsmanship that he has taken into his professional career. Combined with his straight-forward attitude and his capacity for fun Chris has earned the respect shown by his clients.

A founding Director of Avanti Project Marketing, and a logical thinker, his contribution to the detailed practical aspects of the Avanti business and his unique ability to foster long term relationships with both developers and channel and referral partners in the Investment Property division, renders him an intrinsic member of the Directorial team.

Lachlan Harris

Lachlan Harris, a Gold Coast native, has over 25 years’ experience in the property industry. His genuine and reliable personality has resulted in a confident, well rounded leader who is a valued member of the Avanti team.

As Managing Director of the Commercial Property business, he works with government, institutions and private property owners and developers. The relationships he forged throughout his career, together with his local knowledge were excellent foundations for the Commercial business which continues on a growth trajectory.

Matt Haney

Matthew is Director of Avanti Project & Development Management, with over 15 years’ experience delivering projects across a wide variety of sectors including health, aged care, residential, commercial, retail and hospitality which include both refurbishments and new builds.

Matthew’s expertise rests with understanding our clients’ business, developing solutions and bringing the right expertise to the table. He is a successful project leader that delivers cost effective and timely solutions for our clients. Matthew has significant experience in design management, procurement activities, contract administration, feasibility studies and obtaining government approvals.
