INTERNA TIONAL TRADE EXHIBITI ON CENTER

STUDIO PROJECT

Project Name: International Trade Fair Complex Client: Export Promotion Bureau, Bangladesh (EPB) Project Cost: BDT 2.65 billion Site area: 24 Acres Site:, The site is located at SECTOR 4 OF PURBACHAL MODEL TOWN, Dhaka

he current scenario of the fair is more like an amusement or recreational fair rather than promotional of trade and commerce. Not been conducted to promote new orders of products. Hardly engaged international traders. The temporary pavilions are expensive and considered useless after the fair Considering these factors. The export Promotional Bureau (EPB) has decided to build a permanent structure for the fair and other exhibition with the financial assistance of China.

The concept is to break the chain between the different classes of people. The roof will be the grand community spacefor every kind of people (including handicapped). Different kinds of amusement facilities like food court and shops will be available there for everybody.

This place will be available even when there no fair is holding under the roof. This place is something to be felt.

The structure is meant to designed as such a way that somebody can say it as their own structure standing on it. The Project site is located inside the urban realm. Creating a exhibition space for the trading companies as a significant model for the Bangladesh as well we consider the nature. Pre- fabricated structure inside the nature can be a part of the nature. To create a vista all the natural elements are gathered altogether like water and trees. The big waterbody at the front side represent the delta of Bangladesh and a grandness of the functions. The trees create a buffer zone for the heat generates from the waterbody.

I have designed a tons of commercial spaces for a large comanies and small entrepeneur firms. Every project i conducted, I tried to provide such solutions that are modern, creaatives, functional, cost effective as well as environment fiendly. Tried to built every project as a piece of art that reflects the organization.

The materials, and color palletes are choosen is such a manner that reflects the brand and merrge with the neighbourhood.

From the cash counter one gets the whole view of the rextaurant.

A cozy environment gives the visitor a very welcoming environment. The juice integrates with the wooden materials that gives a posh feeling of the area.

Color Pallette

The brief by the restaurant owner was simple. The want a homely wnvironmental restaurant with a juice bar. The kitchen area will be the 25% of the whole space as it is pre=requisite for a restaurant. The aisle is enough for passing booth a visitor and a waiter. The space in divided into two part consisting with couple sitting and family sitting. A greenery look gives the space calm environment.

The furnitures are crafted on-site. When coming to the lighting part, we didnot provide any false ceiling which minimize the cost along with the different look of the ceiling that was painted black with some hanging lights.

Color pallette was chosen from the natural environment with green and wood texture.

3D boards and carvings are used to make the space out from the cowd and the WPC tiles used on the floor are just hitted the palletes.

A restaurant should be a place of calm and sober space. Not treated as commercialy, we designned the space more user friendly taht creats some moments in the visitors heart.

is one of the leading manufacturing company of Bangladesh. The main authority wants to design the interior office and residential spaces of their newly built office buildings.

The brief by the client is quite straight. They want the interior spaces of the whole office to be gorgeous and brandy. The office rooms for the managerial and directorial post should look luxurious and reflect the universal taste as the group deals with many international clients.

By following the design considerations and guidelines, Iapproach to design the interior spaces in such a manner that the whole space reflects a single color pallette. When designing the work-spaces , I consider to prioritize the main color that reflect the company branding.

Choosing materials, I preferred to use woods and boards and high end textured wallpaper. Without wasting money in using unnecessary materials that doesnot go with the space and the pallete we rather choose to use basic paints and illusions that also minimize the overall cost.

The whole project is a huge experience from start to end journey including the material selections and furniture combination process.

Hali-Shahar Shopping Mart

A

private authority want to build a Super Shop in a ten storied building. The project is situated in the residential area of Halishahar in Chittagong. The super shop will be consist of three floor of the main building which will be consist of grocery shop, electronics shop, fashion house, pharmaceuticals and a small food court.

The brief by the client was simple. They want the commercial spaces to be minimalistic and smart and should give a modern look.

The main challenge designing the interior is to combine the different spaces with different purpose. We choose some basic color pallette to represent the adjacent spaces.

When designing the grocery store we had to study about the ergonomics about the aisles, corridors and racks. I visited some well known local grocery store like Swapno, Khulshi Mart and others to have a clear idea about the spaces.

Incorporating all the ergonomics and grammars i tried to put some basic design issue that reflect our local culture. I made a protop-type of a local Van that used to sale vegetables around our locality. I design the whole space that reflect our village tradition where we use to buy things under trees. We use tree bunks and bengali posters and serve our purpose.

The concept and the color pallette integrated in such a manner taht created the whole environment as a single space.

This is a appreciated project after using by the client and visitors.

When its time for the interior design projects, i go through the clients taste firstly. As my clients are the user of the space, i have to learn their likings, hobbies, favorite colors and things the space will represent.

I pick a color palette that match the site surroundings and create a over whelming environment.

Residential Spaces

D

esigning Residential spaces provides me varieties of experiences both with the clients and the on-site projects. Every time I had to work with a individual client with different taste and habits, I had to learn their psychology first. I am going to design a thing that are going to be used by them in their day to day life. Thats why it is obvious to reflect their own taste and habits within their spaces, rather the space will be of no means.

When working with the crafts man i had to deal with the on-site decision making processes. Here creativity needs to be integrated with ergonomics and functions.

Every project reflect the color palletes according with the clients choise and the surrouding environments. The furnitures are also a part of the whole design process, whether we buy it from the local market or we had to built it on-site.

Every projects blends with lots of expectations of clients and their belongings. The expectations got fulfilled when we delivered the project whole heartedly after the last finishing touch .

Design Basics he basic design concept is drew from the need of the client. The provided images took attention to the sofa with pop up blue color. Thats why i keep the color scheme within blue and yellow.

As the client want some cheaper solutions i tried to keep the existing furnitures which has some memories of his father.

I introduced two “ottoman� and a murphy bed with library. And again the sofa need to be redesign sothat it can be moved easily to any side where it is needed. The main showcase is remain untouched.

As it is m,entioned that the room will be used as a living cum sleeping space i considered that the dining area will be realocated other area of the house. Even if it will not, then the existing dining table can be placed inside the room as there is enough space for a furniture.
