Up close and personal I’ve had a love affair with Laycock Street Community Theatre for nearly 30 years. I was privileged Love theatre, love Laycock to direct the first professional home grown variety show in the early 90s; Bobby Limbs’ “Red Garter Girls”. Since that time my fervour, admiration and love of this amazing theatrical lady has never died. The colour, excitement, emotion, that countless local and professional touring productions have inspired is legendary. As a patron there is truly not a bad seat in the house. As a performer, Laycock’s stage offers close proximity to the audience, providing all performers a special intimacy with their patrons that very few venues can boast. As the Theatre Manager my staff and I share a real passion for the venue, the performers, entertainers, musicians, volunteers and the community it serves grows grander daily. Manager Arts and Culture, Central Coast Council

This season, Laycock Street Community Theatre

plays host to a world - class program of music,

comedy, theatre and family fun.

Whether you’re already a member, or a newcomer

and simply want to see what the excitement is all

about, the latest entertainment

line up will have you seeing your community

theatre in a new light.
