My paintings currently focus on the human figure and portrait. I have been using photographs or news articles as my source materials. The palette of color I employ and brushstrokes I make are intended to imbue vibrancy and motion. My studio is attached to my home so rolling out of bed and into my paints happens many mornings. The studio has wonderful light and a beautiful view of the Columbia River.

Directions: From I-84, take exit 63. Head south off the exit and keep going straight a couple of blocks until you can’t go anymore. Turn right onto State Street. Turn left onto 6th Ave., this winds up the hill and becomes Serpentine. Make a left onto Montello Ave. Park on Montello. The studio is below the house. Enter the studio by going through the large wooden garden gate and through my garden. Open year-round by appointment
