Description of Work: Colorful and expressive landscape and still life pastel paintings imbued with Karen’s zest for life.

Directions: Take Hood River exit 63, turn south towards downtown, and turn right onto Oak Street. Take a left (south) onto 6th Street, go across State Street heading up the hill which becomes Serpentine, take a left onto Hazel Avenue, house and studio are on the right hand side, # 7 Hazel.

Parking: Some parking available at the house, extra parking on Hazel Ave near Hood River Stairs.

Description of Work: My studio is part of my home and is made up of three rooms, two for painting and one for a wood shop to make my frames and miscellaneous wood projects. The walls are covered in paint as it is very much a working studio with a nice view of the Columbia River!
