Description of Work: The subject of my artwork is the rain forest of the Gorge, Oregon Coast, Willamette Valley and Tahoe National Forrest. Instead of the vista, I focus on the intimate and close aspects of the trail and canopy of the trees. My style is aggressive and expressionistic. I am invested in mark making as would be an abstract expressionist painter. My goal is to reconnect viewers with nature, specifically the rain forest and have them fall in love with nature again.
