Directions: Take 1-84 to exit 62. Turn south onto Cascade (right turn from Portland, left turn from The Dalles). Turn right onto Cascade Ave. Turn left into Hood River Square. Look for the GAOS signs.

Parking: Center parking lot in Hood River Square. Additional parking in the Walmart parking lot.

Description of Work: Capturing the character and personality of an image is so rewarding. It’s all about the light and trying to create something with a different perspective that takes on its own personality. Challenging and so much fun!

Directions: Take 1-84 to exit 62. Turn south onto Cascade (right turn from Portland, left turn from The Dalles). Take first right onto Mt. Adams Ave, which becomes Wine Country Ave and then becomes Country Club Rd. Turn left (L) onto Frankton Rd. Stay on Frankton as it curves sharply left, then right again. House will be on the left side of Frankton, before you reach Prospect or May St. It’s a two level house with a double garage. House color is caramel and orange.

Parking: Park in the driveway. If full, it’s safest to take a left onto Prospect and park along the road, then walk to the house. Entrance to studio is through the door on the SOUTH side of the garage.

Description of Work: My clay work is marked by the velvety porcelain clay I use, and the vibrant colors of my glazes and design work. Each piece is a unique canvas for color. My new line of wallsculptures maintain the same bold colors of my functional pieces, while capturing a landscape of shapes and movement mounted to acrylic-painted canvas boards.
