Session

🎯 A session is the period of time frame in which a user interacts with your website.

✅ GA4 sessions have a beginning and an end, they can contain multiple events like page views.

Session

🔄 If there is no activity for 30 minutes, the session will automatically end. However, you can change the session timeout period.

Engaged Session

🎯An engaged session occurs if a session lasts longer than 10 seconds, has a conversion event, or has at least 2 pageviews or screenviews.

Engaged Session Per User

🎯Engaged sessions per user is calculated by dividing the average number of engaged sessions by the total number of users.

Engagement Rate

🎯 Engagement rate is the number of engaged sessions divided by the total number of sessions.

💭 Bounce rate is the opposite of the engagement rate. It is the percentage of sessions that were not engaged.

Views Per Session

🎯 Views per session simply measures the average number of screens or web pages that users view within a session.

Events Per Session

🎯 It is the average number of events triggered on your site/app per session.

Average Session Duration

🎯 It is the total duration of all engaged sessions (in seconds) divided by the number of sessions.

Session Conversion Rate

🎯 The session conversion rate is calculated by dividing the total number of sessions by the number of sessions with a conversion event.
