What are your top selling items? Everything sells really well, but some of our most popular items include the fondues and New York-style cheesecakes. Let’s hear about the fondues. Our fondues are really fun and they’re super popular. It’s an experience that brings the campfire indoors. We make them with highquality Belgium chocolate and serve them with five dippers — sliced bananas, sliced waffles, strawberries, Two Bite Brownies and marshmallows. It’s a great date-night experience, or a fun thing to order for families. Do you have options for diners with special dietary needs? Absolutely! When I first went public with the Chillz idea, one of the first thing people mentioned was to have vegan and gluten-free options. I took their advice and made that
happen. We offer an entire page of vegan desserts, including a chocolate avocado parfait. All of our vegan desserts are made by a local nutritionist. We also have gluten-free treats, including a fabulous chocolate torte that people love. For diabetics, we have a delicious refined sugar-free brownie (made with maple syrup) that clocks in at 110 calories. Let’s hear about the craft cocktails. We have 11 signature cocktails on our menu with more to come. Some of our most popular drinks are the chilly chocolate martini, the salted caramel martini, the espresso martini and my favourite — the wild berry mojito. Our general manager, Ryan Megson, is super creative and is a real craft cocktail guru. He even makes his own vodkas and syrups. For example, our Jolly Rancher Icicle is made with his Jolly Rancher-infused vodka.
Espresso Martini (recipe by Chillz) 1 oz vodka 1/2 oz Kahlua 1 oz espresso 1/2 oz cherry syrup Garnish: maraschino cherry Glass: martini Place all ingredients in a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously. Double strain into a martini glass. Skewer maraschino cherry and rest on the glass rim. Makes one cocktail.
