EVENTSCOMPLEX

The full Events Complex at Goodell Gardens includes use of our Events Barn and surrounding lawns, our Events Tent, and our 4-Stall State-ofthe-Art Restroom Trailer (trailer has running water and air conditioning).

Amenities

Site Rentals at Goodell Gardens & Homestead can include use of the Gardens & Grounds and our Events Complex, comprised of the Events Barn, Events Tent, Restroom Trailer, and surrounding lawns.

Site Rentals can also include the use of Carrie’s Cabin, the Public Parts of our Welcome Center, the Wojtecki Memorial Patio, the Atwood Memorial Pavilion, and other locations on site like our Trails system.

Included in your rental is the use of any events equipment Goodell Gardens & Homestead owns, including up to 300 padded white resin folding chairs, tables (both round and banquet-style tables available), cocktail tables and pop-up tents.

FORMALGARDENS

The Formal Gardens at Goodell create the perfect backdrop for the fairytale wedding of your dreams! Choose from several different locations throughout the Gardens for your ceremony. Choose from one of the many areas we’ve already identified, or find a space on our site that’s special to you. So long as the space is large enough for your bridal party and guests, we’ll make it work!

We are happy to work with your outside contractors like caterers, bartending services, DJs, day-of coordinators, decorators, etc. to bring your vision to life.

We realize how essential the venue is for any special occasion. Allow our staff to set the stage so your day -of coordinator or family only has to think about the details.

Our professional staff has more than 50 combined years of experience planning, hosting, and producing private and public events. Let our expertise work for you!

Equipment

Goodell Gardens currently offers the following equipment to rental clients:

• 4-Stall Restroom Trailer

• 40x80’ Events Tent with concrete floor and windowed sides

• 300 padded white poly-resin folding chairs

• 16 Banquet Tables 3x8’

• 16 Banquet Tables 3x6’

• 12 Round Tables 60’ diameter

• 12 Round Tables 48’ diameter

• 3 Cocktail Tables

• 3 Pop-up Tent 10x10’

• 2 Pop-up Tent 10x20’

• Bistro lighting in both Barn & Tent

EVENTSTENT

Complete with a concrete floor and moveable walls on all sides, this 40x80’ tent is large enough for nearly any occasion, fitting up to 300 guests seated, depending on the table arrangement.

Anything required beyond what is listed above will be the responsibility of the client. We are happy to connect you with Party Rental, Florists, Décor, and Day-of Coordination Professionals who can help bring your vision to life.

Please note: Goodell Gardens & Homestead is a collection of antique buildings and living plants that have taken over a century of care. In order to protect the integrity of our site, any decorations that will be attached to structures or plants on site must be approved by the Events Manager in advance of your Rental. Thank you for respecting the historic and environmental value of our collections.

EVENTSBARN

Originally built in the 1840s and then re-built and relocated from elsewhere on our site, our Events Barn is often the central hub of activity for rentals and other events at Goodell Gardens.

Use the Events Barn as a backdrop for your ceremony, as your dance floor, or host a smaller event inside entirely. The Events Barn can fit up to 50 people seated at tables, depending on table arrangement.

2026 PAYMENT & FEE STRUCTURE

For Ceremony pricing: use of the grounds for 4 hours the day of your rental

For Reception pricing: use of the grounds between 9 am and 11 pm the day of your rental

This includes use of the Gardens and Events Barn, as well as our rental equipment as outlined on the previous page:

Pricing

Non-wedding rentals taking place within our regular operating hours will be billed at $150 per hour.

Non-wedding rentals taking place outside of our regular operating hours will be billed at $200 per hour. Additional fees may apply for holiday weekends.

All time required for set-up (decorating, etc.), clean-up, and any time you or your contractors or guests are on site are billable hours. A deposit of 1/2 your projected total or $1,500 (which ever is larger) is due at signing.
