在台 灣 同 志 社 群 的 努力之下，2019 年 5
月 24 日台 灣 成 為 亞 洲 第 一 個 同 性 婚 姻
合 法 化 國 家。經 過 多年 的 努力 和 街 頭 倡 議，台 灣 的 同 志 們 總 算 離 平 權 又 更 近了
一步，但在世界上還有許多國家（尤其亞 洲 ）的 同 志 朋 友，在 我 們 歡 慶 婚 平 通 過 時，還在為現身出櫃苦惱；為同性除罪化 努力，GagaOOLala 的 團 隊 相 信 將 動 人
的電 影或 是 紀 錄故事帶到 所 需要的人面
前，能夠讓人更被理解，也可以陪伴讓人 覺得不孤單，在這 想法之下，我們努力的
將 世 界 各 地 的 LGBTQ ＋ 影 像 內 容 放 至 平台上，並持續不斷的將服務帶到更多國
家，目前 已 經 於 全 球 21 個 國 家 開 放，超
過 1,000 部 精 彩 內 容，希 望 能 藉 由 這 些
電影讓更多 LGBTQ ＋朋友們得到認同。 2020 年 起，我 們 也 將 傾 力 發 展 原 創 題 材，進 軍 歐、亞、南 北 美 等 四 大 洲，去 拍
攝 和 紀 錄 屬 於 他 們 的 故 事，讓 更多 同 志 電影創作者的才華與努力被看見，也將許
多 還 沒 有 被 看 到 的 故 事，透 過 網 路 的 傳 遞帶至世界各個角落。

全世界，同時陪伴其他國家的同志朋友， 讓同志社群更團結。
After years of struggle, Taiwan finally became the first country in Asia to legalize same- sex marriage on May 24th, 2019. While the LGB TQ+ communit y in many countries (especially in Asia) is still fighting for the decriminalization of same-sex relationships and/or struggling to come o u t , Ta i w a n i s o n e s t ep c l o s er t o re a l equality. At GagaOOLala, our mission is to give voice to LGBTQ+ creators and generate awareness across the region through our s tories . We believe in the power of films and storytelling; we believe the right s t or y c an make many people feel les s lonely. On that note, bringing relevant and engaging content from around the world to everyone's TVs, computers and mobile devices soon became our priority in the pas t couple of years . GagaOOL ala now has 1000+ feature movies, shor ts, documentaries and series and is available in 21 countries. In 2020 we will also develop and produce more original content globally, from Asia to Europe, North and South America . We hope to work closely with local LGBTQ+ storytellers to find projects worth sharing with the rest of the world.
