在台灣同志婚 姻合 法化一 週年 ( 2 0 2 0 年 5 月 2 4 日 ) 的 這 一 天， G a g a O O L a l a 正 式 跨 足 全 球，讓 世
界上 所 有 的 觀 眾，都 能 透 過 電 腦 或 行 動 裝 置 A p p 使 用 我 們 的 服 務。過 去 四 年，我 們 從 一 個 只 是 想 要 帶 給 全 世界 更 多 LGBT 故 事 以 及 影 視 角 色 的 原 始 想 法，發 展 成 了 亞 洲 版「 同 志 N e t f l i x 」。這 次 的 全 球 化，更 讓 我 們 開 啟 一 個 令人雀 躍 的 全 新 章 節。
於 此 同 時，全 球 人 民 健 康 與 經 濟 目 前 正 處 於 一 個 最 嚴 峻 的 時 期，因 為 C O V I D - 1 9 造 成 的 疫 情 危 機，其 帶 來 的經濟海嘯與衝擊是如此巨大且影 響 深 遠。我 們 明 白 許 多 L G B T Q + 成 員 因 為 疫 情 緣 故，正 面 臨 隔 離，或 因 此必須和不諒解同志的家庭成員同 住，因 此 我 們 安 排 了「 和 你 在 家 對 抗 新 冠 病 毒 」免 費 特 區，包 含 超 過 3 0 部 免 費 內 容，讓 世界 各 地 的 註 冊 用 戶 隨選觀賞 . 六 月 正 值 世 界 同 志 驕 傲 月，往 年 此 刻， 各 位 應 該 正 在 世 界 各 地 的 遊 行 上 狂 歡， 更 有 如 F r a m e l i n e 和 O u t f e s t 等 同 志 影 展，用 影 像 讓 我 們 的 心更 接 近。我 們 希望 承 繼 這 樣 的 精 神，透 過自六 月開 始 陸 續 上 線 的 精 采 內 容，還 有 與 會 員 們 的 緊 密 互 動，讓
多 元 共 好 的 世界 零 距 離。 本 季 我 們 將 首 映 兩 部 原 創 電 影： 其一是我們與泰國首度跨國合作 的 劇 情 長 片《 戀 愛 完 成 式 2 》，為 GagaOOL ala 平台上 熱 門 同 志 電 影 《 戀 愛 完 成 式 》續 集，自 2 0 1 7 年 上 映 以 來，在 世界 各 地 迅 速 累 積 眾 多忠 實 粉 絲。其 二 是 為 期 三 年 拍 攝 的 紀 錄 電 影《 同 愛 一 家 》，記 載 了 2 0 1 6 年 至 2 0 1 9 年 同 婚 通 過，台 灣 同 志 三 年 來 相 挺 為 平 權 的 奮 鬥 史。片中 呈 現 三 組 同 性 戀 人 的 故 事：第 一 對是 一 起 居 住 了 3 5 年 以 上 的 暮 年 同 志 伴 侶；第 二 對 是 共 同 養 育 女 兒 的 女 同 志 家 庭， 第 三 對 年 輕 男 同 志 伴 侶，則 因 其 中 一 位 來自同性 婚 姻尚未被合 法承 認 的 地 方，至 今 仍 在 爭 取 跨 國 同 婚 合 法 化。 GagaOOLala 的 團 隊 正 齊 心 協 力，希 望 帶 給 各 位 更 多 來 自 台 灣、 韓 國、日 本、菲 律 賓、中 國、泰 國 等 地 的 亞 洲 獨 家 內 容，讓 奠 基 台 灣 的 GagaOOLala 可以 讓 全 球 看到屬於 亞 洲 的 L G B T Q 創 作 力 量。 祝 福 你 有個 美 好 的 同 志 驕 傲 月，希望 你 在 G a g a O O L a l a 上，能 找 到 # 屬 於 你 的 故 事。
A message from the team at GagaOOLala
On the day of the first anniversar y of Taiwan’s same-sex marriage legislation (May 24, 2020), GagaOOLala officially launched globally. People all around the world will now be able to access our service via web or app. During the past 4 year s , we have gone f rom an idea of wanting to bring LGBT s tories and charac ters as broadly as pos sible to becoming the Asian “Gay Netflix”. With this global launch, a new and exciting chapter is ahead of us. At the same time, we know that in light of the COV I D -19 outbreak , the world is facing one of the most challenging times for global health and economy. The devastating implications will endure for years to come. Many LGBTQ+ members are isolating themselves at home and, in many cases, hiding their identities from their families who do not understand them. Given the circums tances , we have created a free “Stay at Home with Us” section consisting of 30+ queer films for people to access any where across the globe. June is Pride Month. Normally, during t hi s t ime of t he year, people ac ros s the world would to be parading in revelr y, while gay film fes tivals such as Frameline and Out fes t would be bringing the communit y closer together through motion pictures. We would like to continue their amazing work and , in the s ame s pirit , launch new and exciting content during this

T h i s s e a s o n w e a re p re m i e r i n g t w o originals titles: one is our ThaiTa i w a n c o - p r o d u c t i o n a n d o u r f i r s t Thai feature film Present Still Perfect. A s equel t o t he hi t Pres ent Per fec t , and with a vast fanbase all across the world. The other is Taiwan Equals Love, a d o c u m e n t a r y i n p ro d u c t i o n s i n c e the first mass gatherings for marriage equalit y s t ar ted t aking place in late 2016. It chronicles Taiwan’s legislative and judicial process towards marriage t o e q u a l i t y. M o r e i m p o r t a n t l y, i t s howc as es three generations of gay par tners: an elder couple together f o r ove r 3 7 ye a r s , a l e s b i a n c o u p l e r a i s i n g a d a u g h t e r t o g e t h e r, a n d a young transnational gay couple that still cannot get married because one is from a place which does not legally recognize same-sex relationships. The GagaOOLala team is making a concer ted ef for t in hope of bringing more exclusive content from Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Philippines, China, and Thailand to you; and to show the world the power of A sian LGBTQ+ creators through GagaOOLala.
