Signature Hole Hole 4. Par 5. • 489m • 467m • 443m • 394m Featuring one of the most picturesque green settings on the Costa del Sol, this downhill dogleg right hole follows the sweeping contours of the fairway, turning to reveal a peninsula green nestled by the lakeside. An accurate drive is required if the player is to successfully reach the green in two. Played to reach in regulation, good judgement of distance with a short iron could equally set up a birdie opportunity, though water is a factor if the pin is placed back right.
Built and maintained to the highest standards, this full length par 36, 9 hole layout is an absolute joy to play. Always perfectly manicured and with incredible putting surfaces, designer Roderick Segar has shown a great understanding and sympathy of the gently undulating terrain on which the course sits. Water forms an integral part of the course - with man-made lakes that are defined by their stylish black slate surrounds contrasting with the breathtakingly beautiful natural lake which comes into play on the 4th and 5th holes. Quick, true greens are up there with the best, and give the opportunity for the greenkeepers to put in some devilish pin positions due to the combination of slopes and hazards. But this course is perfect for golfers of any level, either for a quick 9 holes, or trying to better your score with another trip round.
