n May 14th of this year, a Saturday, I found myself traveling down some of the South’s most beautiful rural roads in both North and South Carolina en route to Pinehurst, NC from Charleston, SC to attend the 2nd Annual Race of the Pines.
This event was created by a Joshua Peyton, a very impressive man, if not a little intimidating. Joshua Peyton is President & CEO of the Veteran Golfers Association and a retired Captain in the US Army 82nd Airborne Division and Army Ranger. Yeah, impressive.
