An App for Vegas
If this is your first trip to Las Vegas, this is an editor’s note you need to read—because, as overwhelming as the city can feel once you arrive at your hotel, there is a hack to help you navigate the craziness. And it’s all at your fingertips!
Greenspun Media Group, which owns Las Vegas Magazine, this year launched the Vegas2Go app, a guide to everything around you no matter where you are. Download it (for free) and start your Vegas experience like a pro. If you’re staying at, say, Park MGM, it will fill you in on everything going on at that property, as well as neighboring properties Bellagio, New York-New York and MGM Grand. You’ll find it in both the Google App store and Apple store. Get it today and enjoy!
Now onto the fun in this week’s issue! Formula 1 is in town this week, which means plenty of F1-related parties and activities. Caesars Entertainment has plenty of fun offerings, highlighted by the Trackside Lunch at Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace (“Where the Action Is,” p. 12). And at The Forum Shops at Caesars, fans can enjoy some simulated F1 action, along with some incredible cocktails at F1 Arcade (“Lights Out and Away You Go!,” p. 24).

If you’d rather see a show, there isn’t a more hilarious one than Carrot Top’s at Luxor. The prop comic not only turned 60 this year, but celebrates his 20th year at his host property (“Older But Funnier,” p. 34).
For a truly unique combination of art and immersive exploration, you don’t want to miss Omega Mart at AREA15, which is always finding ways to expand its artistic wonderland (“Curated Commerce,” p. 36 )
Whatever it is that brought you to Las Vegas this week, we hope our magazine and the handy-dandy app help you enjoy it to the max!

Where the Action Is
Caesars Entertainment’s F1 offerings include lunches, viewing experiences and much more
As any fan of Gordon Ramsay will attest, the man is a huge fan of Formula 1. And he’s celebrating this week’s Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix in serious style with the return of his Trackside Lunch.
The exclusive event takes place at 11 a.m. Nov. 21 at Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars Palace (which offers fantastic views of the track) and includes a curated four-course menu by Ramsay himself. As part of the $344 price tag (beverage package available for $99), guests will not only enjoy an unforgettable meal, they’ll hear directly from Ramsay as he makes a special appearance to talk about food, racing and more.
But the Caesars Entertainment F1-related packages don’t stop there.
At Giada at The Cromwell, the Italian restaurant directly overlooking the race track will offer viewing experiences from Nov. 20-22, which include all-inclusive food and drinks. Watch the game from the amazing view or take in a live feed on TVs throughout the restaurant. (Tickets are $438 Nov. 20, $563 Nov. 21 and $750 Nov. 22.)
Another restaurant with a great Strip view is Caramella at Planet Hollywood, and it offers a similar package as Giada, complete with food, drink and a live feed on TVs. (Tickets are $438 Nov. 20, $500 Nov. 21 and $625 Nov. 22.)
Back at Caesars Palace, fans can enjoy a general admission party with closed-circuit viewing, live entertainment, interactive activations and multiple food and drink outlets. (Every day is $442.)
“For the third consecutive year, fans have flocked to our eight Caesars Entertainment’s Las Vegas resorts, all located in the center of The Strip, directly on the track and within walking distance to all viewing areas,” said Sean McBurney, regional president for Caesars Entertainment, in a statement. “We’ve proudly tapped into our network of talent and are pleased to continue offering our guests fun, unique and engaging viewing opportunities for this year’s race.” –Ken Miller

Let’s Get Glowing
At this outdoor downtown attraction, the city’s history comes to vibrant life through its iconic signage
Each city has its own unique way of telling the tales of the past, and here in Vegas one of the best ways to get in touch with the valley’s glowing history is through its signage. That’s right, at The Neon Museum you’ll find a collection of vintage signs that symbolize decades of change.
Whether you stop in day or night for a self-guided exploration or a tour with a knowledgeable docent, this attraction offers stunning visuals (perfect for your photo dump on the ‘gram) and fascinating facts about how the Neon City came to be.
One of the most stunning pieces in the collection, the Moulin Rouge sign, welcomes tours and wanderers right as they enter the Neon Boneyard. Visitors can bask in its pink glow while learning about the property’s historic significance as the first fully desegregated casino in Las Vegas.
Then it’s time to learn about the properties that once speckled what is now downtown and the fascinating stories of the bigwigs who built them. You’ll even find some signs from retired properties that still operate, like the Plaza, which was the first casino to allow women to be dealers,
according to the museum.
Trek on to ogle signs from the era of Wild West marketing trends, signs that advertised legendary performers like Liberace and Debbie Reynolds, and one of the newest additions to the Boneyard—The Dunes Hotel. (The Neon Museum is constantly working to refurbish signs and add to the already impressive array of works.) The Dunes Hotel was once home to the tallest freestanding sign in the world. And while the 181-foot sign that once stood at the hotel was demolished, The Neon Museum was able to relight a smaller directional sign that mirrored the shape and style of the grand display that beckoned visitors to the property.
More incredible artworks include the Hard Rock Guitar, retired bits of the Flamingo facade and contemporary builds by none other than Tim Burton, whose whimsical Lost Vegas signage debuted in 2019. One of the largest in that collection (inspired by that massive Dunes sign we mentioned) has a permanent home in the Boneyard. –Em Jurbala
Raise a Pint
This pub ups the ante with a renovation and a revamped menu
One of the most authentic Irish pubs in Las Vegas, Nine Fine Irishmen at New York-New York, has enhanced the experience with some recent renovations. The update by DEZMOTIF Studios expands the pub’s patio area onto the Brooklyn Bridge Plaza and updates its furnishings and lighting. And if you haven’t been by in a while, you’ll be pleased to find a refreshed menu of bites and libations.
New regular menu items include Jameson glazed shrimp, pictured, served with couscous and broccolini;
basil-crusted rack of lamb, topped with lamb jus and served with broccolini, carrots and roasted potatoes; and pan-fried pork chop, accompanied by homemade harissa, carrots, broccolini and seasoned mushrooms. For dessert, choose from a black and tan cake, drizzled with cream cheese frosting and served with chocolate gelato, and Jameson apple pie, topped (of course!) with vanilla ice cream and a Jameson toffee swirl.
“Irish pubs are about bringing people together, and we’ve done just that, ex-
panding the Nine Fine Irishmen experience outwards to welcome more people into our unique home in the heart of Las Vegas Boulevard,” said James McBride, vice president of food and beverage for New York-New York, in a statement.
“It’s a place to raise a pint, enjoy a great meal, and feel the lively spirit of Ireland with the buzz of the Strip all around you.” –Ken Miller

Oh, You’ll Be Back
Italian restaurant specializes in creating special memories
Ever been in a restaurant that didn’t have quite what you really wanted on the menu? Odds are you were reluctant to ask for it, not sure if the restaurant could accommodate your request. But at Fresco Italiano at Westgate Las Vegas, executive chef Shawn Gabilondo welcomes off-the-menu suggestions. In fact, he loves them!
“I’ve been cooking for over 20 years across many different cuisines,” Gabilondo told Las Vegas Magazine. “What I love most is connecting with people and creating dishes they truly enjoy. When I get to know someone and can create something special for them, that’s what excites me. I also love cooking seasonally, using ingredients at their peak. It keeps me sharp creatively and allows me to explore different techniques and cooking methods.”
It’s that approach that has kept Fresco Italiano a restaurant that many visitors make repeat visits to. “We have many guests who frequent us (with repeat visits), and I’ve been fortunate to build meaningful relationships with quite a few of them.”
And while Fresco Italiano does provide all the classics you’ve come
to expect, Gabilondo said the menu is updated “two to three times a year. The hardest part is deciding what to remove and what to add—because everything sells well, and we receive great feedback on all the dishes we’re currently running.”
Yes, you will definitely find linguine and clams (featuring littleneck clams), chicken Parmesan and chicken marsala, as well as steaks and spicy penne alla vodka, plus desserts like tiramisu and cheesecake. But again, just because you don’t find what you want on the menu, please speak up. Because Gabilondo’s main goal is your happiness.
“I want every guest to leave feeling they received real value for both their money and their time,” he said. “My goal is to bring back fond memories for our guests while also creating new ones they’ll cherish. When guests love their meal so much that they come back the very next day—especially here in Las Vegas, one of the food capitals of the world— that’s an incredibly humbling and rewarding experience.” –Ken Miller

Shoot Your Shot
Have a blast at this high-caliber hot spot
I will never forget my first visit to The Range 702. The first thing I became acutely aware of was how good I felt upon entering, a direct result of the facility’s state-of-the-art air filtration system. And before you even take advantage of one of the many offered shooting experiences, there’s so much to look at here—a great selection of firearms for sale, equipment for budding enthusiasts and a VIP suite with three large-screen TVs.
My friend and I chose the “Black Ops Experience,” in which you get to fire four extremely different weapons. We didn’t get to participate immediately—there was a bit of wait because all the bays were occupied. But a handy-dandy buzzer let us know when our bay was ready. With our safety instructor close by to give us tips on how to hold the weapons and properly use the sighting, we were off! Each weapon was more intense than
the next—the semi-auto Glock 17 (10 rounds) was smooth and accurate, the full-auto MP5 (20 rounds) was smooth and so powerful, the full-auto M4 (20 rounds) was nothing short of mind-blowing in its power, and the M249 SAW (30 rounds) is exhilarating in its power, recoil and speed. –Ken Miller

A Purrr-fect Retreat
Speakeasy combines ultra-cool ambience and distinctive cocktails
Kept on the down-low, it’s one of the Strip’s chicest secret spots—Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den at Resorts World Las Vegas. The hidden gem can be found inside one of the stalls at the property’s Famous Foods Street Eats. Hint: Look for the FUHU Cha Chaan Teng stall. You’ll notice that the stall—filled with popular Asian snacks and sweets as well as branded apparel—has a wall that seems to open and close beginning around 5 p.m.; this is the entrance to Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den.
Once inside, it’s an intimate lounge that houses some of the best mixology happening in the city. The cocktails here are a practice in flavor, form and fun, rolled into unique and delicious sips. While some of our fave cocktails include the Patron-based That Sidle Touch and the Wild Turkey-based Original Sin, we’d like to suggest that you try the Bartender’s Choice. It’s a meeting-of-minds cocktail, where you and the bartender create a new, unique cocktail based on your likes, dislikes, personality, etc. If the cocktail is a hit, or the bartender feels like the recipe is a winner, you might make it into The Book, a collection of the best recipes. You’ll have to come up with a good name for the cocktail, though, and give it a backstory as well.
And new to the lounge is the weekly party, High Fidelity Fridays, where a rotating lineup of DJs brings their vinyl to spin tunes old-school style. This week, on Nov. 21, the lounge welcomes DJ Jkrazy on the decks. –Kiko Miyasato

Get a taste of the Grand Prix with this attraction’s cocktail program
Watching Formula 1 racers speed through the city is fun and all, but wouldn’t it be a whole lot more fun to be the one in the driver’s seat? At F1 Arcade, guests can do just that, courtesy of the venue’s high-tech immersive racing simulators, all while enjoying some fabulous drinks brought to you by LP O’Brien, the brand’s global creative director of bars and winner of Netflix’s Drink Masters.
There’s just one game at this arcade, and it’s all you need to have a great time. Book three or five races and fly down Grand Prix tracks from all over the globe, including cities like Tokyo, Monaco and Las Vegas, of course! Turn up the fun to 11 by arriving a bit early and having a few drinks. (After all, this is the only buzzed driving that we’ll ever recommend.)
Start off by trying your luck with the What Happens In Vegas, a mix of rye, ginger, yuzu and celery bitters with a blueberry peat foam. Not only does this cocktail balance bitey ginger and bright citrus with sweet blueberry, but it comes with a pair of dice to roll. Roll a seven and you’ve won yourself a free race! Roll any other number and

you still have a delectable drink, so no harm, no foul, right?
Manifest a winning streak with the She’s In the Lead, a light and refreshing bev made with cucumber and rose gin, lemon, blueberry wine and rose, topped with egg white foam. It’s fruity and easy to drink, and the egg white foam makes sipping incredibly pleasurable. Blueberry is a bit of a theme on this menu, and why not? Blueberries are delicious! Insider Tips:
Balling on a budget? Visit on weekdays during nonpeak times to score better prices.
Groups of four or more can compete in teams, meaning you’ll always have someone cheering you on!
There are five difficulty levels ranging from beginner to professional (which requires drivers to manually shift gears). Start on beginner and thank us later.
Don’t skip the food menu! Elevated bar bites like wagyu sliders and spicy ahi tuna tartare offer something light in between races, while taco flights and flatbreads provide satiating shareability.
drink in the Pit Lane Perk, a take on an espresso martini that’s zhuzhed up by blueberry cocoa nibs and served in a smoking car—perfect for posting!
Feel like a Paddock Club legend when you sip the VIP Pass, a smoky bourbon- and mezcal-based libation made sweet and citrusy by lemon and vanilla-passionfruit and garnished with raspberry dust (a nod to the Pornstar Martini that inspired this bev). Served with a shot of chilled Moët & Chandon champagne, this drink will make you feel like you’re already in the winners’ circle.
Perhaps save this next one for after your racing debut, as it is an ultra-rich dessert cocktail. The After Silk features cognac and lavender honey mixed with chilled Moët & Chandon that is poured over vanilla gelato and finished with olive oil, sea salt and marigold. It’s a complex combination of floral and sweet flavors that promises indulgence and adventure with its unorthodox ingredients. –Em Jurbala

Career reaches ultimate heights with Maverick Helicopters
Bryan Kroten is lucky. While most of us stare at a cubicle, Kroten’s views include the Grand Canyon, Maui waterfalls and the Las Vegas Strip. For nearly two decades, he’s served as the vice president of marketing for Maverick Helicopters, overseeing all of the brand’s locations, including Vegas, Arizona, Hawaii, California and the Grand Canyon.
“The views never disappoint; they wow every time,” he says. “Maui, it’s my favorite place on Earth—the Molokai Sea Cliffs, I get goose bumps. The waterfalls being so close to them and feeling like you can touch them. Flying over EDC
when you know hundreds of thousands of people are down there, it’s truly magical.”
And it’s Kroten’s job, besides handling advertising, PR, partnerships, special events and branding, to share those special sights with visitors. “The coolest thing is putting smiles on people’s faces,” he says. “We’re giving core memories and bucket list experiences for people.”
Kroten has a long history in the Vegas hospitality industry, going back to 1997 where he started in group sales for an events company and then spent nearly a decade in sales and marketing for Richard Petty Driving Experience. “When I look

But in 2005, he found his home when he joined Maverick Helicopters, where he’s helped build up the company’s stellar reputation. He even helped establish the biggest partnership for Maverick, the Electric Daisy Carnival. “It’s my favorite event of the entire year,” he says.
So many favorites fill Kroten’s job, from sights to events, but he says what it really comes down to “is coming into work and making people happy … I think that is really cool, giving people core memories that will last a lifetime.” –Kiko Miyasato

COTE Vegas excels in dynamic design and deep Korean flavors
By Nina King
If you’ve heard about the new COTE Vegas Korean steakhouse opening, you’re not the only one. A recent grand opening gala of the Simon Kim restaurant at The Venetian Resort attracted such names as Dr. Dre, Nas, Steve Aoki and Anderson .Paak, who played a DJ set at the party.
The COTE-branded restaurant joins Gracious Hospitality Management’s founder and CEO Kim and his other global restaurants in New York (COTE is Michelin-starred here), Miami and Singapore. “Las Vegas is where it all started for me—studying at UNLV, managing restaurants and casino floors, and learning the fundamentals of hospitality,” Kim said in a news release.
Inside, an intense experience awaits, with dramatic tiered seating levels handling up to seven guests per table. In the lower front level, a massive bar dominates the scene, with the soaring ceiling layering a flower motif to create a huge installation (Cote means “blossom” in Korean). Larger groups can indulge in private dining rooms looking out over the room.
For the design of the restaurant, David Rockwell of Rockwell Group had a particular vision for the Las Vegas restaurant, the first that the Rockwell Group designed for Gracious Hospitality Group. “For Las Vegas, we leaned into the city’s energy, scale, and
Steak omakase
continual evolution,” he told Las Vegas Magazine. “We translated the restaurant’s iconic flower emblem into a spatial choreography—the glowing, petallike ceiling installation, the tiered banquettes, and the runwaylike procession build anticipation as guests enter. The lighting, music, and tableside grilling create a multisensory dining performance that feels both unmistakably COTE and uniquely Vegas.
702.607.2683
“The energy of the Strip, the spectacle of lights, and endless possibilities have always lived in the DNA of COTE, and now we’re bringing that full circle,” he continued.
“Opening COTE in Las Vegas is not just a personal milestone, but a defining moment for our company as we expand to the West Coast with intention and integrity. “
Once you’re in, start with a classic cocktail from COTE Vegas’ beverage booklet, a delight to peruse (as is the menu). Each adds a wealth of information to your decision. There are several wonderful cocktails to indulge in, like the signature Showgirls, a refreshing blend of Ketel One vodka, Select aperitivo, strawberry and lemon. The King combines Michter’s bourbon and the flavors of peanut, banana, sherry and grape in an homage to Elvis’ favorite sandwich.
The menu lets you explore every facet of the beef cuts while deciding what’s on your
plate for the night. Each table here includes a grill, where you can cook preferred meats and seafoods. The Butcher’s Feast is an all-in-one prix fixe with four beef selections, ban-chan, black truffle gogi cha, spicy kimchi stew, savory egg souffle and more. A decadent steak omakase lets you experience even more of the amazing variety of beef to be found here.
And there are plenty of sides that reflect Korean flavors, like kimchi jiggae black cod; the dol-sot bibimbap with veggies, a poached egg and gochujang; the kimchi wagyu paella with kkakdugi (radish kimchi) and wagyu beef fried rice plus a poached egg; and savory doenjang stew with anchovy broth.

Odds are many of you are in town for this week’s Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix, held directly on the Las Vegas Strip for a considerable amount of its length. But for those of you who are not in town for the high-powered event and looking to avoid the traffic—and access—issues that F1 might present, don’t fret! There’s plenty to keep you busy far from that event.
As you’ll no doubt notice, many shows go dark during F1, but there’s one notable exception: Fantasy: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease, an adults-only romp at Luxor that’s celebrating 26 years on the Strip. And not only will Fantasy be available for your entertainment, the show has added a new, exciting reason to visit—the debut of its very own lingerie line!
Available for purchase after each performance, Lingerie by Fantasy: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease features pieces of clothing named after the show’s ultra-talented dancers (and also featured in the show’s 2026 calendar, a great souvenir or gift).

Not in town for Formula 1? No problem
Fantasy: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease
And even if you’ve been to see the show numerous times, there’s another great reason to go back: The show recently premiered a new original song, “Fantasy Come True,” created in collaboration with music production team District 78. It’s performed by show emcee Lorena Peril and is the show’s new opening number!
Fans of the Amazon Prime series (and accompanying video game series) Fallout will want to visit the National Atomic Testing Museum, which recently debuted its newest exhibition, “World of Fallout,” in partnership with Bethesda Softworks (the publisher of the game series) and developer Bethesda Game Studios.
The exhibition includes objects associated with the game and the streaming series, highlighting the connections between real-world nuclear history and the storytelling behind the massively popular game series.
In addition to plenty of visuals that will be instantly familiar to Fallout fans, the
exhibit features “Easter eggs” throughout the main gallery, giving visitors added incentive to check out all the exhibits.
Yes, there are very few live music acts this week during F1, but over at Westgate Las Vegas, you can catch legendary band Jefferson Starship on Nov. 22.
Fresh off its 50th anniversary tour, Jefferson Starship’s current lineup of vocalist David Freiberg, drummer Donny Baldwin, keyboardist Chris Smith, rhythm guitarist Cathy Richardson and lead guitarist Jude Gold have a healthy catalog of classics to bring to the Westgate’s International Showroom, including “White Rabbit,” “We Built This City,” “Jane,” “Find Your Way Back” and “Somebody to Love.” For fans of classic rock, it doesn’t get any better than this.
Over at Town Square Las Vegas, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar has a great alternative for F1 fans— like the rest of its locations throughout the valley, Lazy Dog will broadcast the race—perfect for locals who want the thrill of race day without the chaos of the Strip.

At 60, Carrot Top proves he’s still the master of props
By Genevie Durano
What a trunk trick it is to continually surprise audiences 40 years into a career. But that’s exactly what Carrot Top (née Scott Thompson) keeps doing. The King of Props is marking a double milestone this year—celebrating four decades in comedy and turning 60—and still putting out a high-energy, belly-busting show that keeps the crowds coming (even on a Monday night, when we happened to catch the ginger-do’d funnyman).
Carrot Top’s long-running show at Luxor (going on 20 years this year!) is a blend of stand-up, high-energy physical comedy, sharp cultural commentary and video snippets. Each night, he riffs on the latest headlines, music trends and viral oddities, turning them into quick-fire jokes coupled with interactive prop routines. The stage features several trunks’ worth of doodads and DIY contraptions that preface or punctuate a joke.
“I love creating props that are relevant to whatever’s current, from a
news headline to a song I heard on the radio,” Carrot Top has said.
When he started out in the 1980s, the Florida native was hauling his first few trunks from one comedy club to the next. “When I started touring at the beginning of my career, I had two trunks and a strobe light,” he said. “Things got pretty crazy pretty fast, and before I knew
it, I had a team touring the country in an 18-wheeler with 35 trunks full of props.”
The result is a performance that’s never the same twice, keeping audiences—and his team of trunk-wranglers—on their toes. The jokes come so fast and furious that you might miss the next punch line while still laughing through the last one.
These days, Carrot Top’s Las Vegas residency has the scope of a full-blown spectacle—complete with music, lights, fog and streamer cannons—but his humor remains rooted in everyday observations and spot-on impersonations. His stagecraft and showmanship have earned him not just longevity but cultural familiarity.
in pop culture for as long as anyone can remember.
He’s appeared on Live with Kelly & Mark, Hacks and CBS’ Super Bowl LVIII Special. His voice has popped up on podcasts like The Joe Rogan Experience, Howie Mandel Does Stuff and Club Random with Bill Maher. On screen, he’s starred in Chairman of the Board and Dennis the Menace Strikes Again, and more recently appeared in Don’t Suck with Jamie Kennedy and Matt Rife, plus a new documentary about Gallagher.
is inviting his fans to join the party with a special $40 ticket offer to select Luxor shows—a dollar for every year he’s been turning ordinary objects into comedy gold. For more details, call 702.262.4400
Four decades in, Carrot Top is not slowing down. Walk into his show on any given night and you’ll get jokes about whatever’s dominating the news cycle, plus a Trump bit, a Biden impression and some prop that might be absurd, raunchy or silly (but always funny).
He’s instantly recognizable, and judging by the film montage that precedes the show, Carrot Top has been a throughline
By the time the last prop comes out— an homage to his hero, Gallagher—you realize the real trick isn’t the props at all; it’s keeping people laughing for 40 years straight.
At Omega Mart, grocery shopping becomes a work of art
By Genevie Durano
While Las Vegas awaits the much-anticipated 2028 opening of the Las Vegas Museum of Art, Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart at AREA15 offers a compelling reminder that art comes in many forms. Sometimes, it’s even disguised as a grocery store. Step through the doors and you’re in what appears to be an ordinary supermarket. Shopping carts
wait by the entrance. Fluorescent lights hum overhead. Product displays look normal at first glance, but look closer: The shelves hold Crying Onion Chips, Tattooed Chicken, something called Gender Fluid. It’s all absurd enough to be funny, but real enough to make you do a double-take. This is Omega Mart, billed as ”America’s Most Exceptional Grocery

Store.” And exceptional doesn’t begin to cover it.
Wander to the freezer aisle, where you’ll find a portal hidden behind the ice cream. Walk through those vinyl curtain strips and, suddenly, you’re somewhere otherworldly. Forget everything you know about what’s real and what isn’t. You’ve just stepped into a multiverse of glowing caves, reality-bending architecture and dimensions that shouldn’t exist.
Meow Wolf, the Santa Fe art collective that specializes in turning wild ideas into physical reality, built this 52,000-squarefoot labyrinth as both art installation and detective story. Despite the seemingly random exhibits, there’s a narrative thread running through it all, centered on Dramcorp, a family-owned business specializing in what they call “nationally localized consumables.”
But beneath the corporate speak lies something far stranger, and maybe even a little sinister.
As you explore Dramcorp’s offices, factory floors and research facilities, the story reveals itself in fragments. Computer terminals hold encrypted files. Hidden rooms contain mysterious artifacts. The deeper you venture, the clearer it becomes: Dramcorp has been harvesting something called “the
Source,” a mysterious substance that appears to be the key to their products.
3215 S. Rancho Drive. meow.wf/lvm
The Room Formerly Known as D206
And the multiverse just got weirder: Through a collaboration with UNLV’s College of Fine Arts, Meow Wolf welcomed MFA candidate Dan Hernandez to contribute his own dimension. His installation, The Stupendous Intergalactic Interdimensional Trophy Room, occupies a hidden liminal space between the Deli Case and the Factory. Inside, you’ll find bizarre trophies, alien heads and mysterious mummified artifacts, all supposedly created by a rift from Dramcorp overusing the Source. It’s a pop-up within a pop-up, a temporary addition to an already surreal space. The installation vanishes in January, so see it for yourself before it’s replaced by whatever strange new chamber emerges from the Omega-verse next.
If all this sounds too weird to be true, what makes Omega Mart work
is its commitment to its premise. It doesn’t just nod at being a grocery store; it is one, down to the shopping carts and price tags, right up until it isn’t. The corporate offices feel genuinely corporate, fluorescent-lit and soul-crushing, before they spiral into something else entirely.
This is where Las Vegas does art on its own terms: immersive, interactive, impossible to categorize. Omega Mart shows that the most memorable art doesn’t always hang on walls. Sometimes it surrounds you, inviting you to step through the frozen food section and into another dimension entirely.

Once you check into Circa Resort & Casino, you’ll have everything you’ll need and want for that perfect vacation. Journey with me on my own 24-hour stay (a staycation in my case) and read about some of the highlights and fun to be had at this amazing property located in downtown Las Vegas.
You can ask for an early check-in, but it’s not always guaranteed. We got lucky! We stayed in a that is anything but “standard.” Every room at Circa has a kingsized bed—we jumped onto the Serta Prestige mattress and sunk in … ahhh! A cool feature: A lot of the rooms have a Murphy bed! Owner Derek Stevens made sure all rooms offer a king-sized bed so everyone could feel royal! Technology reigns throughout the room. We adjusted the air and played music through our tablet and asked Alexa questions about the resort. The bathroom has dual vanity sinks (I set up my beauty tools right in front of the makeup mirror with special lighting) and the shower has a sizable built-in bench and luxurious bathing products.

You must see the property’s sports book, even if you don’t place bets. encompasses three stories with stadium-style seating, VIP booths and on-point service. We checked into one of the booths and ordered lunch. Menus from nearby Victory Burger & Wings Co. and Project BBQ are available. We noshed on the Hangover Burger piled with french fries, cheddar cheese, thick-cut bacon, caramelized onions, crispy onion straws, creamy blanco cheese, boom boom sauce and a fried egg; an order of boneless wings in sweet chili sauce; smoked Gouda mac and cheese bites; and fire-roasted elote in a cup. Indulging was joined by eye candy—nearly a dozen huge screens, nearly floor to ceiling, displaying all manner of sports.
Before we went back to our room to get ready for dinner, we made a quick pop into the lobby lounge, , to try some of the most inventive cocktails available downtown. (Plus, the historical Vegas Vickie’s neon sign is a must selfie moment). Don’t miss the Grandissimo Espresso Martini made with Madagascar vanilla bean-infused tequila!

We headed down the final set of escalators to the bottom floor of Circa, where you’ll find the doors to amazing steakhouse
. This place is sexy and cool and has amazing old-school music (before the DJ takes over). And the food? Primo! Don’t miss the vegan menu. (Yes, at a steakhouse!) As a vegetarian, I sliced into a vegan Salisbury steak and a hearts of palm ceviche. My dining companion’s knife melted into the 8-ounce wet-aged filet mignon from Omaha Farms and filled in the rest of his meal with a side of decadent whipped Belgian potatoes and creamed spinach with apple bacon. Can we take a minute to talk about the dessert—each one is more than generous in its serving size. We delved into the banana cream pie and the sticky toffee butter cake … We should’ve started with dessert because buttons were popping; we couldn’t manage to put our forks down even though we were full—the recipes were that good!
We finished up the evening with some after-dinner cocktails and some of the best views of the city, checking in at the hostess podium and then heading into the elevator and up 60 floors to the always-a-good-time . A trip to Circa wouldn’t be complete without making it up to this rooftop hot spot. Bartenders here are often voted the best in the city (many of them are recipients of cocktail competition awards), so ask them to whip you up something special off the menu. We grabbed our cocktails and headed outdoors to the oversized lounge chairs surrounding a fire pit and gazed at the city lights and stars. Another great thing about Legacy Club? There’s a DJ that plays top 40 music. Party in plain sight or sneak into a corner booth or one of the outdoor firepits off to the side and make it a romantic date night.
We didn’t even have to get dressed or leave the room to enjoy some breakfast. We simply scanned a QR code that took us to the menu, Circa’s 24-hour diner-like restaurant. We ordered up Nate & Sally’s housemade vanilla-cinnamon French toast with house-made whipped cream, fresh berries and pure maple syrup, The Chief’s Smoked Salmon Platter with generous salmon portions, toasted bagel, cream cheese, capers, slices of tomato, cucumber and red onion, and the Saginaw’s Breakfast Sandwich, two eggs over medium, bacon, white cheddar cheese and Sam’s Sriracha mayo on a sesame brioche bun. The breakfast menu offers so much more, and having Saginaw’s delivered to your room for breakfast blows the traditional room service meal options out of the water with its delicious options.
We checked out of our room and decided to spend our last hours at . We booked a daybed right alongside one of the six pools available. (The pools are heated as the weather cools). A DJ keeps the music in party-vibes mode, and the 40-foot tall, high-def screen played that day’s games. The multilevel pool complex offers big cabanas, open lounge chair seating, a (huge!) cocktail and food menu and outdoor table games. Stadium Swim is a destination downtown, not just a hotel pool—you have to come to the hotel to check it out. You just pay a reasonable cover to get in and enjoy the facilities, even if you’re not a hotel guest.
There’s a behind the “Marilyn Monroe eyes” inside the high-limit area. You’ll need a reservation. (The concierge has details.) Don’t miss the at Barry’s Downtown Prime. A server brings the cart tableside to mix you up your choice of a Manhattan or Old-Fashioned. You’ll want to take out your phone to record this one. If you snag a inside Circa | Sports, you’ll have fun checking out the table. It’s covered in old Las Vegas advertisements and newspaper articles about sports betting. We cracked up as we read an ad for the Sundance Casino that offered a breakfast buffet for 69 cents and a prime rib dinner for $3.95.
If you book a Circa suite on the 52nd floor, one of the coolest features is the , a specially created tome that shows renderings and tells stories of how the hotel was built. In case you didn’t know, Circa offers . is a behemoth drinking destination, spanning 165 feet with more than 50 seats, flair bartenders, 46 double-stacked TVs and more than 100 beers on tap. It’s Nevada’s longest indoor bar. It’s also where you might be lucky enough to spot owner Derek Stevens enjoying his drink of choice: Captain Morgan and Diet Coke.

The three men who stood on the podium at the Italian Grand Prix—Max Verstappen of Oracle Red Bull Racing, and Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri with McLaren—are vying to win the Drivers’ championship. Norris narrowly leads with three races to go.
IT AIN’T OVER ’TIL IT’S OVER
IT AIN’T OVER ’TIL IT’S OVER
McLaren might have wrapped up the Constructors’ title as early as any team has done it, but there’s still plenty to fight for over the season’s last three races.
WHO WILL WIN THE DRIVERS’ TITLE?
For much of this season the title appeared to be a twohorse race for the top driver, with Oscar Piastri looking more surefooted than his McLaren teammate, Lando Norris. However, the final chapters of the 2025 campaign are full of plot twists. Normally calm and collected, Piastri has crashed twice (in Baku and the Sprint in Austin) and been bullied backwards (in Singapore), so heading into Brazil last weekend his stablemate suddenly had a narrow
lead. And coming up on the rails fast is Max Verstappen with Oracle Red Bull Racing. The four-time defending champion has turned a corner since the sport’s summer break—with three wins and two second-place finishes in the last six races (plus a Sprint win)—vaulting the Dutchman back into contention. Heading into Brazil, he was 36 points behind Norris, but including the LVGP there are three races and one Sprint weekend to go. That means 83 points are available. It’s a long shot, but it’s Max, so anything can happen.
THE REST OF THE CONSTRUCTORS’ PODIUM
While a fifth Drivers’ title might be a tough ask for Verstappen, helping his team to the runners-up spot behind McLaren in the Constructors’ championship isn’t. Since the summer break, Verstappen has scored 134 points, 62 more than Piastri and 52 more than Norris. The Dutchman’s results have helped Red Bull Racing to a six-race total of 152 points and an overall haul of 346. That tally has significantly closed the team’s gap to the third-place Ferrari team over the same period, leaving the Italian squad just 10 points clear of Red Bull.
And Ferrari aren’t the only team in Verstappen’s sights. Mercedes have also profited from the downturn in results for McLaren and Ferrari and over the past four races have banked 95 points, leaving them only nine ahead of Red Bull heading into Brazil last week. Mercedes is also spreading the load, with 86 points coming from George Russell following the break and 33 from an improving Kimi Antonelli. By contrast, Verstappen’s teammate Yuki Tsunoda has scored just 18 points for Red Bull in the last six races. Verstappen and his team are on a roll, but one lackluster result for the Dutchman could derail the team’s late charge.
MIDPACK CHAOS
A week before the LVGP, the top four teams were well clear of the chasing pack, led by Williams with 111 points, 235 behind Red Bull Racing. Still, there’s little doubt that Williams, 39 points ahead of the Racing Bulls, will top the midfield with a fifth-place finish overall. The battle behind them is tight. Visa Cash App Racing Bulls have 72 points, three ahead of Aston Martin, who are seven clear of Haas. In that group, Racing Bulls are the most consistent scorers, with 13 points finishes (including one podium), and both Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson are in good form now. Aston Martin and Sauber have been more competitive since midseason, with Aston scoring 55 of their 68 points since Race 9 in Spain,
while Sauber have taken 54 of their 60 points over the same period. Haas’s scoring is spread more evenly but they have scored just 36 points since Barcelona. The final order in this tight competition remains up in the air. For Alpine, with only 20 points to date, the bottom of the team rankings beckons.
DRIVE TO SURVIVE
For a handful of drivers, the final few races of the season aren’t just about finishing with a flourish—they’re about convincing team bosses that they’re good enough to hang on to a seat in 2026.
There’s been plenty of speculation about what’ll happen at Mercedes, with both drivers unsigned for 2026, but while the contracts haven’t been inked, team boss Toto Wolff has verbally confirmed both drivers for next year, telling reporters in Singapore that, in Russell’s case, “good things take time” and that Antonelli will “stay here in 2026, 100 percent.”
The same is hardly true on Red Bull’s two teams. Dr. Helmut Marko, an F1 legend and adviser to the teams, recently told Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung: “The only thing that is certain is that [Max] Verstappen and [Isack] Hadjar have a contract. But where and in which position is still open.” Hadjar has been linked with a step up to Red Bull Racing alongside Verstappen, which would leave Yuki Tsunoda out in the cold or headed back to Racing Bulls. Liam Lawson’s Racing Bulls seat is also under review. The New Zealander endured a tough first half of the season but has bounced back recently, and with four points finishes from his last eight races (including his best F1 finish of fifth place in Azerbaijan), he’s making a solid case for retention.
Should Red Bull promote Hadjar and dispense with both Tsunoda and Lawson, there are two contenders for the Racing Bulls spots—both racing now in F2. Current Red Bull junior Arvid Lindblad has made a strong case for an F1 drive by finishing fourth in his rookie F3 season in 2024 and was at times contending for overall glory in his maiden F2 season. The other driver in the frame is Irish racer Alex Dunne. A McLaren junior since 2024 (he recently parted ways with the team), Dunne impressed on his first outing in an F1 car at this year’s Austrian Grand Prix. He’s also been in title contention in F2.
Many F1 drivers, shown here racing at the Singapore Grand Prix, are still fighting for valuable final individual and team placings—or even a job next year—with only two races left on the calendar after the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX /
TURNS 6-9
Drivers accelerate into Turn 6 and then must navigate a tricky slowspeed chicane. It’s a difficult stretch to overtake, but last year, Charles Leclerc was able to pass Sergio Pérez on the inside of Turn 6 on Lap 17.
TURN 5 At the end of the Koval Straightaway, drivers must brake and decelerate as they approach the Sphere. Last year in qualifying, George Russell tapped the outside wall—but was able to redeem himself with the top qualifying time on his final run.
TURNS 2-4
Drivers must accelerate through this sequence. Last year, Charles Leclerc passed his former teammate Carlos Sainz on the opening lap. The first of two DRS zones follows the exit of Turn 4.
TURN 1 This hairpin is located just 218 yards from the starting grid. On the opening lap in 2023, this is where Max Verstappen grabbed the lead from pole-sitter Charles Leclerc—and several collisions happened behind them.
TURNS 10-11
These corners, snaking between Wynn Las Vegas and the Venetian, are taken flat-out in eighth gear, with speeds reaching 180 mph.
TURN 12 A good exit from this turn is critical for the high-speed drag down the Strip that follows. Last year, Lewis Hamilton had a disappointing qualifying run after a mistake in this turn—starting the race in 10th—but was able to avoid mistakes during the grand prix to finish second.
TURN
13 The highspeed kink of Turn 13, located a third of the way down the Strip, precedes the circuit’s second DRS zone. The 1.2-mile full-throttle stretch that follows is the second-longest straight on the calendar. Last year, Alex Albon hit 229 mph here, the fastest speed in an F1 race since 2019.
START/FINISH STRAIGHT
The 3.85-mile circuit starts and finishes at Grand Prix Plaza, a 39-acre complex housing a state-of-the-art, 300,000-square-foot pit and paddock building that spans the length of three football fields.
TURN 17
The final turn of the course is taken at full throttle. Last year, Carlos Sainz made a last-second decision here to not pull into pit row because his team was not ready.
TURN 15-16
With the entrance to pit row looming, drivers must navigate these turns to reach the final corner of the course. Last year in qualifying, Williams driver Franco Colapinto had a big crash after clipping the inside wall on Turn 16.
LASVEGASBLVD
TURN 14
Located after the second DRS zone, this left-hander may be the prime overtaking spot on the course. Back in 2023, the lead of the race changed four times in this turn.
