Colour Ranges and Base Options for the 12cm, 22cm & 36cm Diameter Lunar Globes
Our Lunar Globe is available in 12cm, 22cm or 36cm diameter. In this document you will see a wide range of the suggested colour options. Each hand painted globe is paired with a hand turned and hand finished wood or metal base.
Your globe can be paired with any Pocket base, Mini Desk Globe base, Albion 360 base, or a 36cm Livingstone base. We offer a range of woods and finishes - as well as an options in solid Aluminium, Titanium, Steel, Brass, Copper and Bronze.
Using the latest data collected by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter camera, our Lunar Globe presents the Moon in exquisite detail. Major features such as seas, mountain ranges and bays are labelled alongside over 600 individual craters (over 700 on the 36cm). Locations of all current known landing sites are marked with a key indicating the space program they belong to.
Bellerby & Co’s team will work with you one-on-one to design your bespoke globe. With each globe made to order, the map will always be up to date to the time of making. There is also the option to add personalisation like hand drawn and hand painted illustrations or bespoke cartography. Examples of previous requests include astronauts, space ships, personal dedications, names and dates.

We offer a personalised engraving with the commission of each 22cm and 36cm globe.
On the 22cm and 36cm Albion - the base holds up to around 60 characters on a circular disc that sits within the base. You see the engraving only when you life the globe from the base - it is the perfect space for names, dates, dedications, or quotes. The wording will be centred on the disc and spaced to fit. Please provide your engraving exactly as you’d like it written, with or without quotation marks, and including the punctuation as you would like it to appear.
The engraving on the Livingstone base is on the arm that holds the globe and it fits no more than 30 letters.

Illustrations & Cartography
With each globe made bespoke to order, you are welcome to add personalisation to your Lunar Globe such as hand drawn & hand painted illustrations or additional text. Included in your commission are 10 text based edits to the map. This could be adding a landing site that is not part of our standard cartography, dates, names, a favourite quote, or lyrics from a song.
Illustrations will be quoted on top of the price of the globe.
The decision to add further detail to your commission can be made after you place your order, and we provide mock ups for approval on placement, sizing, and style before your globe is made.
