Intrepid
The Voyager Project aligns closely with my thesis on resilient off-grid land development strategies for hurricane-prone regions by addressing the critical need for affordable, sustainable housing solutions in disaster-affected areas. This concept leverages shipping containers to create durable, hurricane-resistant homes designed for displaced populations. By focusing on modularity, eco-conscious materials, and self-sufficiency, the Voyager Project embodies the principles of resilience, mitigation, and sustainability central to my research, offering a practical framework for housing in vulnerable communities.
