Boomerang Bags Beerwah
Local legends

The Boomerang Bags Beerwah group was excited to have a visit at the last working bee from journalist Katie Toney from Seven Local News, who was keen to hear all about the group and the ethos behind Boomerang Bags.
The Beerwah CWA ladies and other volunteers from the group were thrilled to be featured in the local legends segment.
The Beerwah CWA hosts monthly working bees for the Beerwah Boomerang Bags group and anyone interested in participating is invited to come along for a fun morning helping to stem the tide of single use plastic in the local community.

Sewing skills are not essential as there is cutting fabric and ironing to be done as part of the whole process.
The next working bee will be at the Beerwah CWA Hall in Simpson Street next Monday, July 29 from 10am-1pm. For enquires please call Anna on 0405 207 729.
The group would also like to take this opportunity to thank the community for its generosity with an influx of fabric donations.
