Camp NaWaKwa
Climbing Wall and 300’ Zip line: The climbing wall and zip line has three different challenges activities and is available for advance registration and rental. Girls must be ten years or older. Troops/groups are responsible for contracting and securing facilitators from a list provided by Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
Camp Na Wa Kwa consists of 259 acres of large open areas and woods in Clay County near Poland, IN. The camp is located approximately 28 miles southeast of Terre Haute and approximately 55.5 miles west of the Indianapolis service center.
Canoeing: A lake on site is also available for canoeing. Camp NaWaKwa has nine canoes. Groups/troops planning to canoe should request and pay in advance. Groups also need to arrange in advance for a certified small craft person for this activity.
Programming/Activities: Day and weekend use, workshops, camping, climbing wall, teams course. Archery: Archery equipment is avialable at Ada for troops/groups to reserve. (Please note, troops/groups must supply their own certified archery instructor in order to use the equipment. Girls must be ages 9 and and older in order to use the archery equipment Camp
