GALI | Highlighting A Chamber Committee GALI, Gillette Area Leadership Institute, is a leadership program that has been encouraging leadership in Campbell County since 1986. Some of the community leaders in the first class include Mark Dorr, David Holland, Roger Jordan, Thomas Lubnau II, Sherry McGrath, Steve Mueller, James Naramore, M.D., Joe Oleinik, and Robert Palmer. The GALI Steering Committee oversees the program to ensure that participants learn about Gillette, Campbell County, and Wyoming. Over the years, the program has expanded and includes a 3-day trip to Cheyenne to visit the legislators and learn about our state government. Highlights of the program include: • • • • • • • • •
Touring a power plant Learning about social service agencies Meeting commissioners Touring our regional hospital Meeting the Governor Touring the Wyoming Supreme Court Touring our detention center Education and media systems Touring the facilities that enhance our Quality of Life in Campbell County
