Campus Description Our newly renovated, centrally-located free standing campus in Hollywood, just east of I-95, has close to two acres of sprawling grounds, dedicated computer and science labs, art studio, a multi-media library, outdoor basketball/volleyball courts, communal lunchroom and kitchen and brand new classrooms. There is secure Wi-Fi throughout the building, and a closed circuit camera system inside and outside for additional building security.
School Accreditation Our goal is to meet and exceed state and federal standards. Sha’arei Bina is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF), National Council of Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) and Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS).
Student Body Our student body is comprised of orthodox young women from numerous South Florida communities including South Beach, Miami Beach, Surfside, Bal Harbor, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Hollywood, Coral Springs and Boca Raton. School-subsidized transportation is provided.
Daily Schedule Our day begins at 8:30 am and ends 4:30 pm except for Fridays when school ends at 1:10 pm. The school day begins with tefillah, followed by nine class periods. Each period is 45 minutes. The whole school joins together for a 30-minute lunch period and two 15- minute break periods are offered during the course of the day. Mincha is also prayed together during the afternoon break.
