Rachel has been the recipient of numerous accolades and awards for her diligent work with sellers and buyers, including the Top Producer recognition year after year. Rachel’s experience originated in the mid 90’s in the commercial sector of the Industry. Five years later, her focus segued into residential luxury resort real estate. In Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley, she has added luxury rentals to her portfolio; representing owners in achieving an ROI, and guests on fulfilling their dream vacations.
Her tenacity and resourcefulness served her well during the recession of 2008, as only the fulltime brokers had the stamina to endure. At the beginning of her career, she was recognized in the region as assertive and hard-working, eventually receiving so many inquiries and referrals that she hired an assistant to help manage her ever-expanding client base and listing portfolio.
Rachel sat on the Bolton Landing Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2013-2016 and was a board member of the Grievance Committee and Professional Standards for the Warren County Board of Realtors from 2009- 2015. She has held licenses in New Jersey, New York, South Carolina and Colorado; all of which have remained in good standing. Rachel has served on the Board of Directors for Headquarters, (née Aspen Strong.) She has volunteered for Aspen Hope, (2021-2024,) the 2023 World Cup Men’s downhill, and sponsored the Woodystock festival and fundraiser (2023, 2024.) She is a current member of the Aspen Institute Society of Fellows and is a contributing writer to the Aspen Times, Aspen Daily News and other local publications and blog platforms. Rachel serves as a Skico Ambassador for Snowmass Mountain on Sundays during the ski season.
In her leisure time, when not assisting clients, Rachel indulges in her passions for athletics and the outdoors; namely hiking, skiing, golfing, slalom water skiing, mountain biking or playing USTA 3.5 ranked league and recreational tennis.

For more than 30 years, Carla Van Alstyne has built a reputation as a strong, supportive leader in the Roaring Fork Valley’s real estate industry.
Starting out her real estate career in 1985 as a receptionist in Snowmass, she felt the call to became a licensed broker in 1987 in order to better serve her clients and colleagues. Prior to assisting full time, Carla worked behind the scenes, supporting and managing some of the world’s top-producing brokers. During that time, she learned the bricks and mortar of the business from the inside.
Carla’s warm, engaging approach has drawn many friends and acquaintances in the community to seek her guidance in their real estate endeavors.
