Issue 3—January / February Edition The 39 Clues Review By Jacob Morganelli

The story 39 clues is about two kids who are brother and sister named Amy and Dan who join in a clue hunt. The clue hunt has been going on for 500 years after a fire destroyed Gideon Cahill, father of the founders of the Cahills branches, Luke Cahill, who founded the Lucian branch, Katharine Cahill who founded the Ekaterine (Ekat for short) branch, Thomas Cahill Tomas branch, and Jane Cahill who founded the Janus

branch. Innocent people have died during the clue hunt. There are eleven books in the 39 Clues series. The clues are actually ingredients to the Cahill monster serum that would turn the drinker into the most powerful person in the world. There is a book called the The 39 Clues: The Black Book of Buried Secrets which tells about Chasaill agents’ transportation tools and bases. There is another series

called Cahill vs. Vespers. The Vespers are a group that is also after the 39 clues. The Vespers are also responsible for the fire that killed Gideon Cahill. The Vespers aren’t blood related, they’re a group of recruited people. In the Cahill vs. Vespers series, seven Cahills are captured by the Vespers, and it’s up to Amy and Dan to stop them.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME – 12/18/12

BOYS’ BASKETBALL GAME – 12/19/12

We had a blowout on our hands in the December 18th basketball game between the Uxbridge Spartans and Douglas Tigers. The final score was separated by about 40 points and Uxbridge did not miss a beat on offense or defense. Uxbridge had the momentum the whole game, and Douglas couldn’t do anything about it. Uxbridge is 2-0 (as of December 18th) and hope to continue this winning streak deep into the season.

This Uxbridge boys’ team is just on a roll. Another big win against Auburn occurred on December 19th. Uxbridge won this one by over 30 points against this Auburn squad. Uxbridge did not let up in this big win. This brought their record to 3-0, and they hope to keep an undefeated season going.

Hidden Valley Boy Scout Summer Camp By Nathaniel Thompson The Boy Scout camp, Hidden Valley, neighbor of Camp Bell, is an awesome Boy Scout camp with many fun things for Boy Scouts to do-- like fire off really cool rifles, do archery, make fried dough, tie knots, swim, learn about the environment and its little critters, and earn merit badges-- all in a week of FUN!!!!!! The only way to join is to become a Boy Scout, like me. Fortunately, there is a Boy Scout troop in Uxbridge. It is troop 7 Uxbridge. I am a part of this troop so I should know about it.

Ben Fox Book Review Today I am going to be doing a review on the book Eragon. The story is in medieval times with magic and dragons. The story's main character is Eragon who finds a dragon egg in the mountains. I won't spoil any of the story, but this book was great. Rich detail and plot twists will keep you entwined! Ben Fox Game Review So, today I will be reviewing the online free to play browser game called Cyber Nations. It is a slower-paced game than most, yet it is quite enjoyable. It has a large fan base and many active players and alliances. It is very immersive with you deciding your government, religion, and resources. You also manage your military to protect or attack. It’s just so... fun.

The Monthly Block Talk by Kevin Alves This month: Texture Packs My favorite: Good Morning Craft! *to change a texture go onto planetminecraft.net then download it by saving it to documents, right click, copy, then open your Minecraft full version. Open texture packs (%app data% .minecraft texturepacks) and paste! The texture pack looks great all together! From the creepy face of the creeper all the way to the simple-eyed pigs that make you want to ride for miles! The moon is the best with its smile so broad giving you a sense of hope while you sprint back home, away from creepers. The paintings look awesome from tools on a rack to your favorite beautiful sunset picture from the default pack. The armor looks pretty basic, except for the butterI mean gold armor, which look like a king’s armor! Overall, I’d give this texture pack a 9.8 just because it changes the whole way you play Minecraft! Keep a look out for my overall favorite part – the classy Endermen in tuxedos!
