Offering top degree programs in art, music, film, theatre and more, the College of the Arts connects students with Atlanta’s thriving arts scene and booming film and music industries. Through the college’s partnerships with the city’s cultural organizations, students combine their craft with training in entrepreneurship and the latest digital technologies to support a successful, confident transition from college to career and beyond.

The college includes the Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design, the School of Film, Media & Theatre, the School of Music, the Office of Educational Outreach and the Rialto Center for the Arts.

MAJOR CENTERS & INITIATIVES

liquid blackness is a research collective that explores issues of Blackness and aesthetics. The group creates critical encounters around art, champions local talent and fosters conversations among academics, artists and communities.

MTM STANDARD is a student-led music distribution and sync licensing company operating out of the School of Music. Students run every aspect of the company’s operations, from recording to marketing to pitching/licensing.

THE OFFICE OF EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH hosts innovative clinics, workshops and institutes to encourage participants to hone their artistic skills in immersive hands-on environments alongside critically acclaimed faculty artists.

THE RIALTO CENTER FOR THE ARTS presents the best in jazz, global music and contemporary dance, as well as signature educational and outreach programs like Rialto Jazz for Kids and Feed Your Senses.
