It is my great pleasure to share our exciting 2025-26 performance season at the Georgia State School of Music. Please join our wonderful students and faculty as they present a lineup of dynamic and exciting concerts in our beautiful performance venues, the Rialto Center for the Arts and Florence Kopleff Recital Hall, located in vibrant downtown Atlanta!
Our season will feature our nationally and internationally renowned faculty artists, special guest performers and our outstanding student ensembles, including orchestras, concert bands, choral ensembles, jazz bands, opera, chamber music and offerings from our music industry program. The Athletic Band program at Georgia State University includes the Panther Band (marching band) and the Panther Basketball Band Known as “the Sound of Downtown,” the Panther Band performs pre-game and halftime shows at all home football games, as well as at university and community events and high school marching band exhibitions. The Panther Basketball Band enhances the game-day atmosphere at the Georgia State Sports Arena, performing at all home basketball games for the men ’ s and women ’ s teams, as well as post-season tournaments
