Sala de exposición permanente Permanent exhibition room The city of Zaragoza is the capital of a community that holds an important intangible cultural heritage material, which stands the great heritage of manifestations of popular folklore maintained throughout the centuries. Therefore, in the Palacio de los Condes de Fuenclara, declared as a Site of Cultural Interest and recently restored, will be created the Living Space of Memory and Tradition, a reference centre to accommodate all kinds of activities to preserve, disseminate and give substance to this heritage, as well to expose heritage from other national and European regions. The Living Space of Memory and Tradition, designed to collect and spread the various efforts of conservation of this collection whose are already being done, will be eminently interactive, and will develop a comprehensive program of action around the popular tradition, to the intangible heritage that shapes and defines the elements of collective identity. Its thematic environment will initially cater to aspects linked to the main purpose of the centre: the oral tradition, traditional music, dance, costumes, festivals, gastronomy ...

La ciudad de Zaragoza es capital de una comunidad que atesora un importante patrimonio cultural inmaterial, del que sobresale la gran herencia de manifestaciones del folclore popular mantenidas a lo largo de los siglos. Por eso, en el Palacio de los Condes de Fuenclara, declarado como Bien de Interés Cultural y recientemente rehabilitado, se creará el Espacio Vivo de Memoria y Tradición, un centro de referencia que dé cabida a todo tipo de actividades destinadas a salvaguardar, difundir y dotar de contenido a dicho patrimonio, así cómo exponer el de otras regiones nacionales y europeas. El Espacio Vivo de Memoria y Tradición, ideado para reunir y canalizar los diferentes esfuerzos de conservación de este acervo que ya se realizan, tendrá un carácter eminentemente interactivo, y desarrollará un amplio programa de acción en torno a la tradición popular, a ese patrimonio inmaterial que configura y define los elementos que constituyen la identidad colectiva. Su entorno temático atenderá inicialmente a los aspectos ligados al objeto principal del centro: las tradiciones orales, la música tradicional, la danza, la indumentaria, las fiestas populares, la gastronomía…
