Tending to the trails; Jacob’s Arena

We recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, right, for Jacob’s Arena at Robert Tedford Memorial Park, a dek hockey rink built in honor of Jacob Poulin, who died of a rare brain tumor in 2016. The Jacob Roger Poulin Foundation has been working tirelessly in the years since to build a park in Jacob’s memory to incorporate some of his favorite things, including hockey, for others to enjoy. Below, Ellington Trails Committee once again partnered with Key Bank, sate Rep. Jaime Foster, and me to hold this year’s “Neighbors Make a Difference Day” in June, where many dedicated volunteers assisting with building bridges, mulching trails, and more. Thank you so much to everyone who got involved and helped improve our great trails.
