Bachiller en sociología egresado de la Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega (UIGV, 1979) En 1982 viajó a Estados Unidos a continuar sus estudios de especialización en Estudios Latinoamericanos y del Caribe en Hunter College (CUNY, Nueva York). Fue fundador del Grupo de Apoyo al Perú y director de la revista El Informativo. En junio de 2001 ingresó a Inmigration Academy, de la que egresó como oficial de inmigración, ejerciendo después para el Departamento de Inmigración y Naturalización y para el Departamento de Seguridad Interior (DHS).

It has given me the opportunity to not only serve my community with my amazing sister queens but has allowed me to make others happy! However this could not have been done without the help of my amazing coaches Gladys, Cynthia and Mary! Not only have you taught me so many new skills but encouraged me to grow and be proud of who I am!

To Baron Da Parre, I can’t say enough and how grateful I am for you believing in me and giving me this opportunity!

Most important to my parents, thank you for always supporting me and allowing me to follow my dreams! Without you none of this would have been possible and I love you always!
