MESSAGE FROM JOHN REILLY

Dear Members, Happy July!

It has truly been a pleasure getting to know many of you over the past month. From casual conversations, to shared moments at recent events, I’ve deeply appreciated the friendliness and sense of community that you’ve all extended to me. Your warm welcome has made my transition into this role both enjoyable and rewarding.

I’m excited for the opportunity to continue building connections and learning more about each of you and your involvement here. Whether we’ve already spoken or haven’t had a chance to meet yet, I look forward to many more conversations and shared experiences in the coming weeks.

Sincerely,

TASTES & SIPS

SIP of the MONTH:

CANADIAN PEACH MULE

A northern twist on a southern classic, the Canadian Peach Mule blends smooth Crown Royal Peach with the zesty bite of ginger beer, a splash of fresh lime juice, and a crisp finish of club soda. Light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, it’s the perfect way to raise a glass to summer. Served over ice with a lime wedge.

Just $13 at all bars!

TASTE OF THE MONTH

SHRIMP REMOULADE

Beat the summer heat with a cool, classic Southern favorite made to refresh. Tender poached shrimp are chilled to perfection and served over a crisp bed of iceberg lettuce, then generously topped with our zesty, house-made remoulade sauce. It’s a simple yet bold combination of flavors and textures. Available for a limited time this summer!

REMINDERS FROM THE GOLF TEAM

Please add your guests’ names/playing partners to the tee sheet as soon as the TBDs expire. We have experienced several double bookings when names are not added to the tee sheet. This is imperative for our operation to run smoothly and rounds not to be delayed. We appreciate everyone’s assistance following this procedure.

HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

As you are all aware there are many homes that surround our golf courses. If you happen to hit an errant shot and it hits a home or breaks a window, please make sure you make an effort to reach out to the homeowner. Accidents happen! At the very least, leave a note with your contact information. No one wants to come home to a broken window.

TOO CLOSE TO THE GREENS

Please be mindful of the directional cart signs near the green complexes. There should be no motorized carts within 20 feet of the greens, unless you have a handicap flag issued by a member of our golf team. Please exit to the cart paths and walk up to the green. We appreciate you respecting an important rule of the course.

DRESS CODE REMINDER

Please make sure you are dressed appropriately when using the golf course and practice range. When in doubt please ask a member of the Professional Staff for assistance.

FREEDOM FROM PAIN

FEEL BETTER DOING WHAT YOU LOVE AND IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE

Pain is a major problem in our society today, but the reality is that pain isn't something you have to live with. There are plenty of non-surgical and non-drug-related treatments available that can help bring you freedom from pain and Strata Med can help.

MOVE BETTER, FEEL BETTER— NATURALLY WITH CHIROPRACTIC CARE

Strata Med’s holistic, hands-on chiropractic approach targets the root cause of discomfort, not just the symptoms—empowering your body to heal naturally.

Dr. Tymbree Baty , Chiropractic Doctor at Stata’s new location offers a few ways that chiropractic can help your body function properly and minimize the pain you have been suffering with, sometimes for long periods of time:

•Restore mobility and flexibility

•Boost your energy and overall wellness

•Improve posture, spinal alignment and nervous system function

•Enhance sleep quality by reducing tension and discomfort

•Support long-term injury prevention and performance

Dr. James Ashley , who focuses on neuro-chiropractic care at Strata Med, goes deeper on how chiropractic care works:

1. Movement reduces pain.

When joints are stuck, they block natural pain-relief signals. Chiropractic care restores movement, helping your body turn off pain more effectively.

2. Chiropractic activates your brain.

Adjustments stimulate the nervous system, improving brain function and restoring joint motion—like a targeted workout for your spine and brain.

3. It finds the root cause.

Many symptoms—like headaches, balance issues, or chronic pain—come from hidden imbalances. Chiropractic neurology and Applied Kinesiology work to uncover and correct them.

4. You don’t have to live with pain.

Chiropractic care can quickly improve how your body feels and functions—often in ways medication alone can’t.

Make an appointment with Dr. Ashley or Dr. Baty by calling 719-749-3308.

STAY AHEAD OF PAIN—START WITH ACUPUNCTURE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Did you know that imbalances can exist on an energetic level up to 10 years before symptoms appear? According to Chinese Medicine, these imbalances—whether in organ function, energy (chi), or blood—can be detected early through tongue and pulse diagnosis, helping to prevent future illness.

At Strata Med, we believe freedom from pain starts with prevention. Acupuncture, a cornerstone of Chinese Medicine, offers a powerful, drug-free approach to identifying and addressing imbalances before they become chronic pain or illness.

Whether you're managing existing discomfort or simply want to stay ahead of future issues, age-appropriate acupuncture and wellness evaluations—available for every member of the family—can support long-term health, mobility, and vitality.

Ready to Take the First Step?

Your family’s health starts with awareness—and prevention is the key. Don’t wait for symptoms to appear. Schedule an acupuncture or wellness evaluation with Kelli Miller, today and experience the difference acupuncture can make in your life.

Call 719-749-3308 to schedule an appointment with Kelli or another acupuncture specialists.

CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS AND GUA SHA AT THE CAMEL DRIVERS GOLF TOURNAMENT

JULY 11 & 12

Strata Med will pop up at the tournament to offer treatments for golfers. Dr. Jake Fisher will provide minor chiropractic adjustments and Strata Fit specialists will offer soft tissue work. Both treatments are ideal for the golfers looking to improve swing efficiency, reduce already existing pain, or pain from the previous day’s play.

SUPPLEMENT GUIDE FOR PAIN AND INFLAMMATION

Dr. Candice Lynch , Naturopathic Doctor at Strata Med weighs in on how to target joint discomfort and inflammation. This carefully selected lineup of clinically supported, high-impact supplements is designed to promote joint comfort, reduce inflammation, and support mobility at every age:

• Omega-3 Fatty Acids

• Turmeric/Curcumin

• Glucosamine & Chondroitin

• SAM-e

• Vitamin C

• Inflammatone

• Arnica

• Collagen peptides

Read Dr. Lynch’s full Supplement Guide to learn how these supplements help pain and inflammation.

When it comes to joint health, not all supplements are created equal. Choosing high-quality, clinically tested formulations ensures you're getting the potency, purity, and effectiveness your body needs. Invest in trusted, well-sourced ingredients and feel the difference in how you move every day.
