Tema: De la gente, para la gente y por la gente*

Prime Time Family Reading está creado para familias con niños de 6 a 10 años, pero también son bienvenidos los hermanos de cualquier edad. Post-Katrina: Experiences Within the City After Katrina

Twenty years after the storm, a panel of community members discusses the changes the City experienced as a result of Hurricane Katrina. From organizing the first storm relief eforts to tracking institutional failures to rescuing tombs, it was the New Orleans community that started our City’s recovery and struggled to both save and reconnect the pieces left in the wake of Katrina. At this discussion, hosted by the City Archives & Special Collections, hear the unique experiences of a group of community activists and preservationists.
