APPLY FOR GC SCHOLARSHIPS Just one application required to be considered for all institutional scholarships offered by Galveston College.
SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS Include all official transcripts and your bacterial meningitis vaccination record.
COMPLETE TSI ASSESSMENT Students must complete the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment unless a qualifying test score or proof of exemption is provided.

Galveston College (GC) is a fully accredited community college offering bachelor degrees, associate degrees and certificates in academic, technical and professional programs. GC is conveniently located on Galveston Island along the Gulf Coast of Texas. Our palm-lined campus is an eclectic blend of historic and modern architecture. Financial Aid Available Scholarships, grants, loans and work-study positions are several financial aid options available to qualified applicants. How to Apply:
Open Admissions
1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov
GC is an open admission institution with no application fee for domestic applicants.
2. Review your Student Aid Report (SAR)
How to Apply: 1. Submit an ApplyTexas admissions application at applytexas.org 2. Submit all official transcripts 3. Take the TSI Assessment 4. Submit bacterial meningitis vaccination record Many specialized programs require an additional application that is separate from the ApplyTexas application. Check the program information on gc.edu for details.
3. Submit required documentation (official transcripts, tax information, etc.) to the Financial Aid Office 4. Complete the Scholarship Application at gc.edu The Universal Access (UA) Scholarship is available for students in the GC taxing district. UA covers tuition and fees for full-time and part-time students for a 60-hour associate degree.
