Local Artist Freddy Platero Freddy Platero’s trade is literally written into his heritage. The Spanish name Platero actually translates to the word “silversmith’’.

Though jewelry making has roots in Freddy’s family history spanning back several generations, he is largely a self-taught craftsman.

Freddy’s clients describe him as authentic, professional, heartfelt and fun.

Upon reading customer reviews, the warmth and reverence they feel for him is tangible. When clients come to him with their ideas, he thrives on the collaboration and is well known for keeping them involved every step of the way. Freddy specializes in bringing forward his clients’ dreams through his art. When asked where he gets his inspiration, “It’s the customers themselves,” he says. Bringing life to a customer’s concept is the motto Freddy lives by and those words ring true when seeing his quality craftsmanship combined with the unique flair he has for design.
