C Steph-

I heard him screaming one night we were fishing and camping at Assi Lake 25 years ago. The screams came off the Washington Pass mountains, it sounded exactly like these other Big Foot screams recorded. Pretty awesome and Creepy. T TeeHe lives! There are several all over the Reservation.

I have seen Big Foot three times around the mountains of Pine Springs, Hunter Point. I keep to myself, he is not going to harm or hurt anyone except he eats animals. J Phillip-

I had some friends from the

Paiute reservation who prayed and practice their religion among the big people, they called them, Elders (Big Foot). Very Amazing! They are like people, only gentle giants.

A KennyI’ve heard their howls, seen their footprints, seen the color of their eyes with flashlights kinda brownish to orange color and saw their piles of beddings. Yes, they use piles of branches and bushes to sleep on. Also, heard them breaking branches in the middle of the nights. Also, have heard them communicate.

They have been around for years and we never told anyone, it’s their forest too. Let them be, they never harm anyone. Q BarboneBig Foot work no more. Big Foot tired!

I know of some brothers and sisters that have seen Big Foot and have stories. I am a Big Foot fan and want to read more stories. Go Big Foot! T TeePeople around Oak Springs, Hunter Point and Pine Springs, Arizona refer to Big Foot as Darrell. Back in the late 90’s he was spotted by a rancher who was checking on his livestock up in the mountains of Oak

Springs near Pine Springs, AZ. While driving, he spotted a large cloud of dust. He then noticed a pack of horses running and something chasing them. At first, he thought it was a bear running on four legs, but it was a huge hairy man! This huge man caught up with the horses and caught one by the neck and pulled the horse to the ground. Must have broken the horse’s neck. At that moment the rancher turned around and drove back down the mountain as fast as he could…never heard what happened after, for us Dine do not want news people coming and disturbing the Navajo Nation.

So many stories here on the White Mountain Apache Tribe, countless encounters.

J PadillaHe is Real!

A BegayOne evening my friend and l were getting some wood in the Coalmine. We first heard like something yelling or howling “yeow,” we shrugged our shoulders. We heard this sound three times. My friend got spooked after the second and the third time, but I yelled back and it fell silent even the birds stopped chirping. We started making our way to the car and we heard an even louder one and we left later that evening. My mom’s friend in the neighborhood was leaving near the cattle guard and as she turned on her high beams, right in the Sagebrush patch next them Big Foot stood up and ran across the road back into the dark. He leaped over the barbwire fence running. We were scared because at the time where I lived this was the bus stop area for me. I walked there every day. We had no car at the time and the next neighborhood was quite a walk to get to. The next morning, I woke up not thinking about my experience, wearing my headphones, and went to school. I could faintly hear coyotes in the distance from me at the first ditch. Then at the last ditch were the sagebrush patches, I could smell a strong odor I have never smelled before. It was really strong, and the coyotes spotted me, and they started to get closer. I thought I was about to get mauled and before they got any closer they stopped near that patch of sagebrush. l heard heavy footsteps and that odor smell l recognized everything the evening before I remembered quickly. I heard grunt sounds like a gorilla would make. l thought he was going to get me, the coyotes took off running. I slowly started to walk the trail, I walked slowly because I did not want it to know I was scared. When I got further away, I would walk and l think it was observing me peacefully and l thought of it as a positive thing. The coyotes were still nearby. It did scare the coyotes away and when l got closer to the neighborhood it stopped. I stopped too then. l heard slight grunts again, then his steps thudding hitting the ground running away in the ditch and l was so shocked l got to the bus stop and went to school. After school l was walking back home when I spotted footprints. They were big, l took a photo but lost that phone and the picture was on it. l never told my family or friends because l know they think l might be crazy or something or get made fun of. Hope you all like this story.

I cannot confirm or deny what I saw when I was 10 years old. It was a 4th of July night. Looking at the fireworks display on top of a hill near my house 7 miles east of Window Rock. I ran very fast and fell on a cactus….
