VOLUNTEERS
The Gallo Center for the Arts greatly benefits from the support provided by approximately 165 active volunteers performing duties including lobby greeters, ticket takers, ushers, concessions servers and more. For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023, spanning every performance by the Center and our resident companies, rentals by outside producers and special events, our volunteers donated 19,000 hours of service. (Applying California’s minimum wage plus payroll taxes to those hours, it would cost the Center in excess of $300,000 were it not for these wonderful volunteers.)
