SURE ISLE OF MAN HAS SIGNED UP TO SPONSOR LOCAL SIDECAR TEAM BENNETT RACING. THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY, WHICH IS ALREADY THE MAIN SPONSOR OF THE POPULAR SIDECAR RACES, HAS AGREED TO SUPPORT KARL BENNETT AND LEE CAIN’S ENTRY TO THE 2015 TT SERIES.

l a c o l p u s v e r Sure s r e d n e t n o c sidecar The team had a very successful time competing at last year’s event achieving back-to-back fifth place finishes in the two Sure Sidecar races.
Karl said: “It’s been great to be part of the sidecar races in recent years as they’ve got more and more popular and Sure’s sponsorship of the races is one of the reasons.
To celebrate the partnership, Karl and Lee joined members of the TT Marshals’ Association at an in-store event to raise awareness of the organisation and the essential work they do at the TT.
“Sure’s support of our team means that we can build on last year’s performance and give it a really good go on our home race circuit for the 2015 series. We can’t wait for the TT to get underway.”
As part of the event, the Bennett Racing sidecar and the Sure Sidecar trophy were also in-store so people had the chance to see them up close and, in the case of the bike, sit behind the wheel of a TT-ready vehicle.
Sarah Jarvis, marketing manager at Sure Isle of Man, said: “Sure is extremely proud of our association with the TT sidecar races. We’ve been fortunate enough in the past to support some of the most talented competitors, including Dave Molyneux, who is an incredible ambassador for the sport on and off the Island.
Karl, who made his TT debut in 2005, is aiming to record his first podium finish at the 2015 event.
