covid-19 pandemic response My immediate action was to mobilise private sector and charitable organisations including The Joseph Assignment, Seprod, Nestle Jamaica, Wray & Nephew and Grace Kennedy to meet the need for food brought about by the government imposed lockdown and supplies for sanitation. Over three thousand (3000) care packages were distributed to the elderly, disabled, single parents and our most vulnerable families.
plans This Covid-19 pandemic has changed our lives forever. These times demand strong leadership. I urge all my Western St. Andrew family to practice social distancing, always wear a mask in public and wash or sanitise your hands regularly. Corona still a keep!! My style is inclusive and I will be reaching out to residents to develop a plan for Western St. Andrew in the event of a wider outbreak.

House-Keeping and Warehousing skills under the Western St. Andrew National Unattached Youth Programme (NUYP). Ten million ($10m) dollars was allocated towards this initiative.

Our MP expended thirty-two million ($32m) dollars on back to school support since being re-elected in 2016. Nine hundred and sixty (960) students were provided with payment of school fees and/or book vouchers.
Jobs Thirty-one million six hundred thousand ($31.6m) dollars has been spent by the Member of Parliament between 2016-2020 to provide temporary short term employment for residents.

small business support As the Opposition Spokesman on Industry, Comrade Hylton is a tireless advocate for the Small Business sector. Leading by example, he has provided sixteen million four hundred thousand ($16.4m) dollars in funding to purchase stock for shops, bars and stalls as well as taxi and bus operaters to repair PPV operated vehicles.
