STEMPEL
STUDENTEN HUISVESTING In de stad Groningen zijn veel ontwikkelingen rondom studentenhuisvesting. Nu de particuliere markt de vraag lijkt op te vullen, laten cooperaties kansen liggen. Vandaar dat wij namens Nijestee hebben gekeken of wijkvernieuwing in de wijk Selwerd kan leiden tot combinaties van huisvesting voor ouderen, gezinnen en studenten. Selwerd staat bekend als een van de vele stempel wijken die de stad Groningen kent. HIerdoor is de schaal enigzinds verloren gegaan. In ons ontwerp stellen wij een nieuw stempelplan voor met een menselijke schaal. HIervoor zijn we opzoek gegaan naar een dimensie die voor de meeste woningtypologien een goed uitgangspunt zijn.
Specifiek voor de studentenblokken is gekozen om de stemples op verschillende niveaus met elkaar te koppelen. Zo ontstaat er interactie tussen de verschillende studenten stempels. Aan de binnenzijde van deze studenten stemples bevind zich op de begane grond de studenten winkelstraat. Hier bevind zich ondermeer een cafe, fietsenmaker, fietsenstallingen en een wasserette. De studenten stempels zijn voorzien van verschillende woningtypologieÍn. Zo kan ingespeeld worden op de veranderende vraag naar type huisvesting. Ventilation is natural by ventilationrasters above the windows. Windows could also been opened by the students itself. Every unit is provided by floorheating for the winter months.
