ernie Lewis, a member of GMB for 41 years, has hung up his cap after 43 years working for Ideal Boilers’ Hull plant. Bernie had been a long-standing shop steward for 26 years, serving on the Hull Heating Workers’ branch as president and auditor and representing the Hull plant on the European trade union forum. BRIAN JESSON It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Brian Jesson, retired GMB full-time officer, who passed away on 30 September 2012, aged 80. Brian retired from GMB in 1990, and represented members in the Leicester area of the region. Our condolences go to his wife Mavis, and his whole family.
