At Miller, Zimmerman & Evans we help clients through all aspects of “family law” cases; divorce, custody, child support, adoption, guardianship, protective orders, child in need of assistance cases, and DHS investigations. We assist clients with straightforward cases, such as uncontested divorces and child support modifications, as well as the most financially and emotionally complex cases.

Two of our attorneys are certified in Collaborative Law – a process to resolve family and other disputes respectfully and equitably outside of court. The goal is to help individuals to focus on what is most important to them. The collaborative process is ideal where both parties seek reasonable and practical solutions.

All of our attorneys are certified mediators. This is another option for resolution without the need or expense of trial. Work as mediator is a benefit to our lawyers who are able to build relationships with other practitioners in the field and frequently think outside the proverbial box to problem solve; this informs our practice.
