Notes Hello Everyone
Since it’s been a while since our last brochure we would like to start by wishing you all a very Happy New Year. We trust you all had a very nice, busy Christmas and New Year period, helped along by some of the great beers we had on offer for you over that time. As you will have all no doubt noticed, we’ve had a major reshuffle of this season’s brochure. The brochure is not only now different in size and design, but our offering has changed to give you the very best options. Check out some of our great deals on our brewery feature pages with offers of free stock, POS and other items available for multi-buys. For the first time, we now have our Permanent Beer range. This should give you permanent access to some of the UKs best-selling beers, which (subject to the brewery having them) will be held in stock at our depot on a permanent basis so they are available all of the time. As always we don’t just hold permanent beers in, so keep an eye out for our seasonal and rotational beer offering including some fantastic new breweries such as Brew York, a real belter of an addition this time around. We now also have our Small Pack and Keg range. This gives you the option and availability to pre-order some of the UKs very best kegs and packaged beers, delivered within 1-2 weeks. With the UK craft market growing so rapidly this is a must for any outlet these days, particularly in small pack if your draught lines aren’t available for these products. In addition to these changes we have added a colour chart to our brochure. This will help you, the decision maker, gauge the colours of your beers as we know and realise a lot of your patrons choose the beers they drink based on colour. We hope and trust all of these above changes will work for you guys out there. We would like to welcome some new team members to Funky Brands. Firstly we have Joe Jackson who has joined us from another brewery. He has great experience and beer knowledge and will be working in and around Lancashire, so should anyone fancy a meeting or a catch up with Joe please don’t hesitate to contact him. In addition to Joe, we also have Mike Senior. Mike is a great asset to the team with experience in many different areas of the business from brochure design to sales strategy. As always, we like to show you a couple of pictures of what’s been going on out in the business recently. In all fairness, we’ve been so busy over Christmas and New Year we haven’t really done anything as exciting as previous brochures. Kieran has nipped over to see our good friend, Pierre Hensenne at St Feuillien brewery in Belgium and whilst there attended some of the great bars in Bruges. This is an annual visit as some of you may remember from last years brochure and one we hope we can get some of you to join us on next year. Speak to Kieran on that for more details. We hope you all have a pleasant March and April. We’ve decided to bring out our next brochure in May so it isn’t quite as long in between.
