Logan was previously an attorney with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, in New York.

For his Fulbright, Logan studied the Importation of Pharmaceuticals to Canada.

David is a PhD student in the University of Arizona’s School of History, Philosophy and Religious Studies. David specializes in cultural and intellectual history. for his Fulbright, he conducted a comparative analysis oftraditional knowledge and scientific research.

Sarah is a student of Public Health (Perinatal and Women’s Health). For her Fulbright project, Sarah will be conducting research on Perinatal Health Improvements in the Context of Healthcare Reform in both America and Canada.

About the Mentorship Program In 2010, as part of its 20th anniversary activities, Fulbright Canada established a mentorship program. The program is designed to connect new Fulbright students with Fulbright alumni. The mentor pool consists of volunteers who provide advice to one (or more) new Fulbright student(s).

Incoming students are matched with a mentor before taking up their award. this is someone at their host institution, in their host city, or someone in the host country who works in the same field. mentors provide advice ranging from practical questions about housing, transportation and libraries, to academic issues, including advice on courses or professors, networking, and research. Ideally, if the mentor and his/her charge are not located in the same city, they could be provided with an opportunity to meet using one of Fulbright’s existing mobility programs. both mentors and students provide a short report on their experience.
